Danny Welbeck
Apparently he will be a free agent at the end of this season.

What are the odds he will be at West Ham next year?

Must be one of the few footballers that plays less than AC. Zero chance he'll be joining, he needs putting down if anything.

Re: Danny Welbeck
He earns (or he receives as he doesn't actually do very much for it) £115k a week.

If Pedro's mate is mate is correct he'll miss that for doing very little

And has a knack for bizarre accidental assists.

Re: Danny Welbeck
He is out of contract so no one is BUYING him.

He broke his ankle in Nov but he has managed about 80 games in the 5 years he has been at Arsenal which is Carroll-like.
Hopefully we have learnt our lesson but you can understand why people would link us given our previous stupidity

Well he's sure perfected the air shot and the balloon over the bar.

Re: Danny Welbeck
I know a guy in Arsenal medical staff who said in December that Welbeck career was over. Had an awful injury last year and not expected to play again.

Odds in we buy him.

Maybe sign Mustafi as well.

Re: Danny Welbeck
We can't be signing players like Welbeck or Sturridge.

It's fools gold to think that players with appalling injury records are going to suddenly get well and play 40 games a season.

Because if you are willing to give these 100k a week then the minimum we should expect is a full season with sub appearances kept to a minimum.

They are following the Ken Bates masterplan at Chelsea in the 90's - sign any old has-been from the bring and buy sale hoping one of them will come good.

It rarely works - Ruud Guilit maybe but he was a genial player and they paid for Zola so he doesn't count. I remember Winston Bogarde picking up huge wages and being told to stay home in Holland for the last year of his contract.
