Totally biased and very much with a tin hat on, I would say we should look at this guy for the future up front.

Has 5 goals and 2 assists now in the three games at the Gold Cup. It is against garbage opposition but did score 14 goals in the Belgian top league and Europa League Qualifying last year after spending a lot of the first half of the season on the bench. And is only 19.

Word was Bundesliga teams were sniffing round before the tournament. Not sure how true that would be.

He’s behind 2 of the best and prolific strikers in the world in Cavani and Suarez. It’s okay that a 22 year old from a relegation threatened side in La Liga hasn’t ousted them just yet.

To be fair he is competing with Suarez and Cavani.

Anyone else noticed that although Maxi Gomez is the squad he is not getting any games with Uruguay.
Not sure of that is a good sign?

Str for a striker is super annoying.

It’s either STK or FWD.

Re: Summer Transfer window rumours/discussion thread.
I must admit its very quiet on the transfer/rumour front, thats because Hus and Pellegrini keep cards close to their chest until a deal is finalised, the best way I guess but a tad frustrating for us fans!

Still think we'll see moves for Maripan and Gomez to completion, prob after the Copa bollox

Noel Whelan's past comments on reported Leeds United target Jordan Hugill

John Verrall

Leeds United are said to be interested in signing Jordan Hugill from West Ham United this summer.

Noel Whelan may well be delighted if Leeds United sign Jordan Hugill, as he suggested that the West Ham United ace would be a great addition to the Whites’ squad just last season.

Leeds’ striking options came up short last term, with both Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford failing to get over the 20 goal mark.

The Sun now suggest that Hugill is on Leeds’ wishlist in today’s (23/06/2019) printed edition.

And that potential transfer may well please Whelan, as he has wanted the target-man at Leeds for some time.

“Hugill. Did he get two today? I think so. Someone like that would have been fantastic for us,” Whelan said to BBC Radio Leeds in November.

Leeds were actually linked with a move for Hugill last summer in Leeds Live, but they didn't complete a deal.

The powerful forward instead went to Middlesbrough, but he only had limited success.

Hugill has previously proven a big weapon at Championship level though, and could help increase Leeds’ attacking threat for the upcoming campaign.

Hugill would offer Leeds the hold-up ability and strength that were missing from their starting line-up on occasion last term if he was to join.

Milan, the Premier calls Kessié: auction between Arsenal, West Ham and Spurs

The Premier League calls Franck Kessié. According to the Corriere dello Sport report this morning, the Milan midfielder would have been targeted by Arsenal, West Ham and Tottenham.

Rossoneri's opening - The 'Devil' has sensed the capital gain and is ready to unleash an auction with a starting base of at least 30 million euros as Kessié was paid 25 by Atalanta two summers ago.

The substitute - The Ivorian seems so officially on the market, also because mister Marco Giampaolo has already identified in his pupil Lucas Torreira (Arsenal) the right director in front of the defense and, at the same time, the new arrival Rade Krunic as right wing. The Rossoneri midfield goes towards a revolution, Kessié instead towards England.

Why would players go to the Man Utd of today ?, They are a busted flush, a club in steep decline.

If players go there it's because of money alone so it won't be your top notch who are used to winning, second graders

Kaiser Zoso 7:47 ~
Having seen some of the comments he's made on Newsnow, I couldn't agree more

He believes we have a cheek asking 75m for Diop & thinks we should sell him to Man U for half of that!

When did we say we wanted to sell him & when did anyone say we'd listen to offers of 40m plus one of their shite overpaid cast-offs

He can't be that stupid to realise that we don't want to sell him, he's on a long contract, he's apparently happy at West Ham & he isn't for sale, just because Man U want to bully us into selling him at whatever price they deem appropriate!
