Peter Crouch
Although I am rich beyond most peoples dreams, I decided to let my name, legacy and family reputation be used to garner a few more shekels because of my disgusting, fever like greed for a bit more of that lovely, delicious cash by agreeing to do an unnecessary, demeaning advert.

Re: Peter Crouch
You can't criticise him because of his vast wealth compared to yours. Well at least that's what I was told by some dickhead on another thread.

Re: Peter Crouch
Seems a genuinely decent bloke. Can't believe someone would get wound up with him doing an advert. Fucking hell.

Re: Peter Crouch
Bill Hicks was 100% correct when he said " If you work in advertising, kill yourself."

However can't blame Crouch for trousering what it would take most of the population at least 5 years to earn if he's offered it. He'd be a fucking idiot to turn it down.

Do you need cuddle now, Rid? Cos I think you've obviously got your rant wrong.

Nice try. Haha.

That's how you get richer and look after your family, good luck to him, wouldn't you?

Re: Peter Crouch
Of all the things to get upset about, one of the most likeable footballers making a few quid selling mobile phones is way down the list.

Re: Peter Crouch
Always liked him, seems a decent bloke who doesn't take himself too seriously and also gets involved in good causes.

Sometimes a bloke starts a thread on here and does not realise it tells us more about him than the subject of the thread.

"Peter, what would you be if you weren't a footballer?"

"A virgin"

Re: Peter Crouch
I've just finished reading his book "How to be a footballer" - it's very funny.

He seems like a decent bloke to me.

His autobiography is a decent read

Re: Peter Crouch
The blokes a character so he's at a premium these days on the 'funny footballer' side of things. The game is missing a good few more of his type and he will, therefore, be in short term demand for advertising agencies and the like.

Re: Peter Crouch
I like Peter Crouch, he comes across well, he doesn’t take himself too serious and he has a cracking wife... so for that, I’m In!

geoffpikey 10:11 Mon Jun 24
Re: Peter Crouch
His arms are "too long"? He's 6'7" tall. If shorter, he wouldn't be able to reach his pockets.

22 goals for England in 42 games. That's good for international football.
Most headed goals in the Premier League.

I know he played for THEM , but he's a solid pro. Wish we'd signed him instead of Carroll!

38, and still coining it on and off the pitch. Well played.

Re: Peter Crouch
For all we know he could give the fee to charity. He's a footballer not an artist, so has no artistic integrity to protect. He'll be on strictly come dancing at some point I'd have thought, might be worth watching if the gangly cunt is on there making a fool of himself, probably doesn't take himself too seriously.
