He'll play more- perhaps, 6 games in a season doesn't exactly set that bar too high.
Be less injured- nope, he's actually MORE likely to be injured (if that's even possible) as he's getting older.
Score some goals- yes he will in the limited time that he actually gets to play.

Dave L,
To be fair, he'd have a point.
And thats the major problem. Not having good facilities gives the players who don't try hard enough, even more of an excuse not to try.
Hopefully, these new facities will put that behind us.

I doubt if he’ll slag us off, he likes it in the area, said even if he moved away he come back, and we’ve helped him be a multi millionaire..

Probably the slowest and most unfit player in the entire league.
Good luck to whoever signs him

34 goals in 7 seasons. Well worth the millions he raked in I'm sure.

People who say Carroll is one dimensional should watch the video of all his goals for us. There are all sorts of goals not just headers.

I remember getting flack for saying that AC would be losing pace and leap because athletes with his plantiatus (?) problem usually lose a fraction of their performance they never recover.
I'd looked it up and was only repeating what I read but when fans are on a player's side to say anything they might not like means you become a cunt...

I thought when he came back last season (briefly as usual) he had lost his leap and athleticism and was being beaten in the air. Always fairly useless outside the box if he doesn’t have his physical danger he is fairly easy to play against. You can push up higher as he is never going to run away from you.

Carroll had some brilliant games for us in between long absences from injury. Over the years, it took him a few games to get his form back, then he was brilliant again for a few games before getting injured again. Last season he looked finished as a player before his inevitable season injury. Newcastle are welcome to him.

You won’t find a more predictable centre forward in the PL.

On the rare occasions that he is fit he is an absolute monster (Arsenal hat-trick),if they get him on a deal that they pay him when he is fit,it makes perfect sense.I just wish we had seen him more for us,it’s just that when he gets an injury it always seems to be a serious one, like Wilshere.

I would love I would love it if Steve Bruce proved them all wrong. When they all criticised him they went down in my estimation. Counts
