Anyone else been following the Haas F1 racing sponsorship debacle? *Yes, this is West Ham related*
Sorry if this has already been on here...

I've been following this weird story for a while. Loose synopsis:

Energy drink company (Rich Energy)sponsor a F1 team
Rich Energy has no money in accounts - so people wonder how they can afford it
No-one can find any of these energy drinks in actual shops, despite their claim that they own a £50m bottling plant in Europe
Rich Energy company appear to have copied the logo of a mountain bike company - Whyte bikes, who sue them
Rich Energy founder (a very strange guy) starts trolling the company on twitter
Rich Energy then lose the court case
Rich Energy lose their sponsorship of Haas
Company chages name, logo very public and strange boardroom squabbles

A couple of sites have looked into this and their is a very dodgy Isle of Man investment link combined with money laundering rumours etc.

I was reading up on it today and was surprised to see that as well as a F1 team, Rich Energy also seem to sponsor some of West Ham's player awards (the Dylan Tombides award for instance).

Then I noticed who was an investor in Rich Energy - our one and only owner...

Oh yeah, if you google Rich Energy and West Ham, loads of stuff comes up!

A hell off a lot of investment for a drinks company that don't seem to sell any drinks!

They claimed they had their cans all over Scandinavia at one point. Turned out to be one independent service station in Denmark.

Oh and also they are the primary sponsor of WHU women's football team meaning they pay the 1 million pounds each year for 3 years just to be in the Premier League competition. What they've basically done is bought a non-relegation clause. It's dodgy but not illegal. Better teams. Cannot be promoted because we've already bought the place in the superleague.

Made a phone call just to ask a question and was told that Sullivan now owns the whole fucking thing, as of last week!

That was a fucking long article alfs but worth the read, nothing illegal going on here and didn't the other interested party that wanted to buy West Ham, Tony Fernandes, also have an interest in F1

The best hope here is that Sullivan loses his stash in F1 and is forced to sell the club to someone that really wants to invest in us or has the business nous to take us to the next level

That is a fascinating piece. Im going to look into it further. I won't post results on here as it's a site full of cunts (like North Bank) but Alfs I'll let you know personally.

While I'm not a fan of the dwarf, what's not law abiding about porn?
