Firestick with a tv package are they any good?
I live abroad and watch all our games via streams. Some good, some garbage, but even the good ones mess up a lot.

Spoken to a guy that sells Firesticks fully loaded for £130 to include a years subscription to all TV and ppv events. It's £70 each year after.

Has anyone used this at all? If so what was your experience?

Many thanks

When will we be able to get rid of the bloody BBC charging us for shit and use IPTV and streaming as the way forward?

If I use my PC monitor and watch only Netflix and nothing else do I really need a TV license?

A mate has one of these. It's quite good sometimes but shit just as often. Looks a frustrating experience. Had the cricket on the other day until it decided to only play in slow motion. Which was actually quite entertaining weirdly.

Fire-sticks are great, I have one that I use all the time for Netflixs and Amazon prime. I also watch streams using kodi and mobdro loaded onto the fire-stick some shit some ok, as you said. The fire-stick does not turn a crap stream into a good steam. Shit streams are shit. Also if the internet is slow the streams will be shit, you need 3+mb. I had trouble with netflix and found my internet provider was only delivering 1mb or even less. When they promised “upto” 10mb (I missed the upto in the small print), it took treats to change provider before the previously impossible increase in mb was delivered.

I’ve had one for a year, it’s been great, fully loaded with ‘everything’, nudge nudge. £60.

Plugs into your TV and uses your TV screen like your phone uses your phone display. Much like a firestick but better.

All IPTV services have simple set up guides.

I've got the details of a guy who does SIPTV or something for £50 a year - whomail me your email address and I'll send it to him.

A mate uses it in Dubai and gets everything inc box office etc

Cheers Fraser. I don't even know what an Android box is :-) I have an iPhone. Anyway the way I understand it is that it plugs into the tv HDMI socket

Loads of services that do the same. £70 serms reasonable for a, year.

Though personally I wouldn't get a year as these can get shut down.

Loads out there with free trials that you can try on laptop or phone if you don't have an android box
