I thought it was going to be an hour but I think it was just 30 minutes. Considering some of the people who have been knighted over the years I am staggered the whole team wasn't. Should have been undoubtedly.

Didn't know he got a League Winners medal in the States and was named top goalkeeper after he retired in the UK. With one eye to still play at a decent level took some doing. Lovely guy.

Gordon Banks and Bobby More are my first hero's of football. One of my former teaching colegues was good friends with Banks and said he was a modest true gentleman.

Yep, could have him but ended up with Bobby Ferguson, who wasn't that bad

Could have had Maurice Setters too, a real hard case, I think we ended up with John Cushley?

Yea,bit short but i nice bit with Sir Geoff about THAT penalty save in the lg cup semi which they showed.

I was there that night in 72 and was my girst encounter with genuine heartbreak.
