BBC, Alan Shearer on why Leicester can make top four
Did anyone else read this on the BCC?

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49791445

It’s a joke, most of the article is about how West Ham beat ManU (without giving us much credit?!?) and the conclusion is Leicester can make top 4. Of course absolutely no mention that West Ham could do well this season, even though we are on the same points with just 2 goals less goal difference than Leicester.

Really is quite hilarious.

if we are to do something special and make the top 6 let alone the top 4 the media attention will come, its only a matter of time. Enjoy the moment that we're not on every pundits lips as you just know it'll be our downfall as soon as they talk us up

Not meaningless to all the supporters.

Which two?

I enjoyed Dixie’s post but I have a different view about Leicester as a team. For a start I hugely enjoyed their bursting of the top six bubble by winning the EPL. Adding to that enjoyment was that they did it before the scousers, a bunch of fans whose sense of entitlement knows no bounds.

Now under Rodgers they are playing well again and good for them. Let’s hope that we two can get among the top six all this season because it makes a change for the unaligned football fans of this country.

And just think how the TV companies may be having to rehash their live broadcasting schedules further into the season wher comes like ManU versus Chelsea become meaningless compared to say West Ham versus Leicester.

I think Dicksie3's post has one cunt too many.

Like Leicester City.

Otherwise, it's proper WHO.

They've had a lot of thoroughly unlikable managers.

David Pleat
Mark McGhee
Martin O'Neill
Nigel Pearson (twice)
Claude Puel
and now Brendan Rodgers

to name a few.

I know a family from Leicester through work. They never cared about football in the slightest and in fact were a bit condescending about it. Suddenly they are football fans with Leicester shirts after the win.

I cannot fucking stand Leicester happy-clappy cunt City.

What an embarrassing, arsewiping cunt club they are.

Happy-clappy, clueless cunt fans who know fuck-all about football and jumped on their title win.

Pathetic, embarrassing cunt League Two-standard ‘der der der der’ chants/songs with some cunt banging a drum over and over again.

Loads of middle-aged, bingo-winged women in replica shirts, player names/numbers and PL badges on in the stands.

They’re a shit, shit, shit fucking club. It was bad enough watching them punch way above their weight under that annoying, hyper cunt O’Neil in the late-90s/early-00s let alone seeing them win the league a couple of years back.

I’d love to see them go down again one year soon playing in front of sub-20k gates again. Cunts.

Best we stay under the radar. Let other clubs get the weekly plaudits whilst we plug away.

IWe we have goals in us.
I'm hoping Leicester do finish in the top four one place behind us.
Oh and a cup win too

I agree, the pressure will be on Rodgers to deliver. They didn't when everyone thought they would ar Old Trafford. Look how poor we made Manu on sunday.
Let's keep up there and slowly climb up to 3rd. Even a draw at Bournemouth and a win against Palace would be great.
We're not scoring many goals as we've actually gone a bit defensive, thus the 4 clean sheets.

I think the teams are quite close on paper. I think Haller, Anderson, Diop and Fabianski walk into their first team. Madison, Tielemans and the young left back probably stroll into ours. The rest are pretty similarly matched I reckon.

But we have a better manager and they are a fucking jumped up championship side from a shit part of the country and we ain't. Do they can fuck off and take that fucking lunch Lineker with them.

To be honest I’d rather the media didn’t blow smoke up our arse until we have done something .... winning 15 in a row like Liverpool maybe.
Annoying that us outplaying Man U is virtually ignored as it’s all about THEM but not terribly keen on being flavour of the month.
Let’s just get on and beat Oxford and Bournemouth
As said at the moment I think we have a chance against anyone we play barring Man City & Liverpool.
And Liverpool’s injury free run has to end soon

Leicester have recently won the PL and have an ownership that knows what it takes to achieve that level of success. We don't.

The longer we are off the radar the better. I haven't listen to any of the so call experts wisdom on West Ham. The top six. Or the premier league in years. Sky thinks it's ok to employ a scumbag like Jamie Carragher. And the Beeb thinks it great for people to listen to a retard like Robbie Savage. And this is going to enhance your viewing experience.!

Outside the top two we can beat any team in the league. We can all see that. I wouldn't give a toss what anybody outside the club thinks.

I think Leicester will finish marginally above us. Our central midfield is still not great against dynamic teams and if Rice gets injured we're totally screwed.

Re: BBC, Alan Shearer on why Leicester can make top four
It's really a battle of managers.
Rodgers is a top manager. He has a record of improving sides. There would be no Sterling without Rodgers etc.. The liverpool squad he had then was nowhere near what it is now and he nearly won the title with them.

Pellegrini, for me has done similar in Spain but his title with Man city was a bit weird because they spent shit loads of money and he won on the last day of the season. Should have had it sewn up earlier. Notoriously leaky defence as well. However in Spain his Madrid side had the most points to not win it.

On balance I think MP really needs the right players in the squad whereas Rodgers seems to be able to improve anything he's given.

So I kind of get the why people might say leicester.
