it's all about destroying any progress and starting again, managing expectations is the only aim

People need to show them more respect. They saved us, and dont take a penny in wages or dividends.

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
In their deluded eyes it gives them an excuse and a clean slate.

When they sell all the players they can say “ these players either asked to go or too high wage cost for Championship “

At any point we come up they can say “ it’s our first year back and we are almost having to start again. ( use and repeat for 3 seasons)

If we don’t come up they can say “ it’s our first season in the championship and we are finding our feet “

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
Why would anyone think they want us relegated? Gold, Sully and Brady are huge fans and Gold lived on Green Street as a kid?

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
yes, I think thats the plan. going down clears the way to cash in on rice, diop, lanzini, haller and anderson. that has to be the plan, as they clearly can't be watching the football being produced, or where we are short

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
No way are they taking a chance on buying any decent players with relegation a real threat. Id say they are already planning what to do if relegated but we all know they don’t do planning. Maybe when they know there is 200 mil to be made by selling players if we do go down is something that gets their attention!

Arsenal lost their Arseoles every time we went in their north bank.

(Can’t compare us to them I’m afraid, we’re UNIQUE!)

The lying leeches are running scared.
HU ad a great start and will only get bigger and more influential.

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
Guessing, the two bobs may not want to invest and take a chance if relegated so be it, they can use it as an excuse to sell of Rice and Diop £100m-£150m + others Haller, Anderson, Fornals, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Antonio, Masuaku, Wiltshire, Sanchez, Ajeti and Reid will probably all go if buyers can be found to spend on more English players trying to emulate Sheffield United? They relegated us once and Birmingham 3 times in 5 years a premier League record.

They got Allardyce in to get us back up first time, last time, expect they think Moyes can do the same. They still get the parachute money first couple of years if go down so TV money is mitigated. The Athletes Stadium is shit full, half full will be embarrassing unless they screen off the top tier?

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
Relegation wouldnt even be a wake up call, as it would devaluate the club and the price they can get even less.

The club is a cash cow for them first and foremost and secondly a live football manager toy.

So fact is, that if the club regress they will not sell as it is devaluated. If the club remains steady they have a vast interest income. If the club progress they might sell but at a much to high price.

We are stuck with them until they roll over and die or WHU is relegated of out the league system.

finger - Yea saw that, and they only moved around the corner (same journey in, pubs, etc) still have a proper football stadium and own it. So what chance have we got?

simon, everything they do is calculated to the nearest penny. moyes is there because he won't demand anything, that was evident by his pre everton press conference. that so much of the media are also silent is the most desperate part

Whilst the owners are serving up Premier League football they are going nowhere in the short term. They see themselves as successful football club owners. They see the LS as a world class football stadium. They see Moyes as the best available manager around for our club. They’re fucking deluded beyond belief.

Relegation is our only hope of bringing them back to reality with an almighty bump, and hopefully seeing them fuck off for good.

Re: Gold, Sullivan & Brady "club murdering c#nts"
I remember the days back before 2010 where we had a team on a par with Spurs or Liverpool. Unfortunately, those clubs are far better run and realized their ambition, with owners prepared to back the manager well or sack them accordingly, but otherwise stay in the background.

The actions of our owners are the very opposite of their stated ambitions. They simply haven't addressed the squad nor have any desire to do so in any meaningful way. As long as we have enough to stay up and the stadium gets filled every week, its happy days for them. When they do venture into the market you have to wonder how much influence the manager really has or whether Sullivan is playing fantasy football with our signings, some of which have been nothing short of shocking.

With no January signings lined up, Its looking very much like they will get us relegated this season. The only crumb of comfort is seeing them embarrassed by their failure and the 'NEXT LEVEL' they have delivered, rattling around a three quarters empty athletics stadium while we play Rotherham, whilst their profits evaporate.
