The Owners
As in any other business when things arent going well.

Tho owners can sell up.or recruit and appoint salaried Directors.

Its a common enough move these days in business.

Sulli and Goldo have a deep love of the club as we do,they need to retire, get some new managing directors in and enjoy some success as fans supporters and responsible men.

all of these managers were interviewed, employed and given a job description by the owners.would someone who loved west ham and in a clear conscience have employed Sam

Re: The Owners
yes goose, and Allardyce wasted a budget on Carroll, Bilic on Zaza, Moyes didn't get one and so it goes on. When each manager takes on this job he's not only on a budget but short in depth of squad from what he's inherited.

Re: The Owners
this thread was started up by suggesting the only peaceful solution to our clubs dilemma.
its not about apportioning blame, senseless name calling etc.

w2hether you like it or not,the owners are driving the vehicle and we are the passengers an they claim to love the club

they are not planning a change to that .and they plan to stay.

Re: The Owners
I was there on the stroll from Stratford Park to the athletics ground on the 10th March 2018.

Stroll past the Carpenters - 10th March 2018
Published on Mar 10, 2018
West Ham fans defy threats and cancellations to march against the board.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htX0fHCz6VI

After the ‘stroll’ I walked back to Stratford tube and went to Upton Park, had fish and chips from the Ercan, then caught the train home. When I got home, I then read about the demonstrations in the Athletics Ground.

What should have happened that day on the 10th March 2018, was that 20 hearses would arrive at the Athletics Stadium. The images for G&S and the Duchess of Knightsbridge, would have gone all round the world and would NOT have been to their liking.

A funeral march can always be organised. Some years ago you will recall that a convey of hummers went up to Wigan, for an away match. MANY enjoyed it.

INSTEAD this time, a funeral procession with hearses and support vehicles in cortege to an away match would have a visual impact, especially if invited guests from the media come along…

Which match, how it would be organised would be something to be decided? Is there enough interest in getting something going? Many West Ham fans trust the organising abilities of ONE IRON, that would be my own obvious choice.

AGAIN, it is about visually showing to the current ownership and to the wider community the dissatisfaction felt by genuine West Ham supporters.

Rolling funerals to SELECTED away matches, would IMHO, be an embarrassing REMINDER to ALL, the CLEARLY broken promises inflicted upon genuine West Ham supporters.

Someone save our Football Club.

"grasshopper the manager should be able to take punts on young potential players AND still be able to go out and get that proper centre midfielder."

but he knew how much was available to spend, and then wasted it on Fornals.

That's the Premier League step up to clubs who reside in 55,000+ stadium, that have a serious fanbase.

What you described in your first paragraph has happened under 4 managers now on a regular basis, with probably only Moyes getting a kind of handle on it.

Re: The Owners
SOH

The owners are not to blame for shit tactics, playing the same way every week, low energy levels, not sticking their foot in to tackle the opposition etc. Pelle is paid a lot of money to motivate these players and I just can’t see how that is down to the owners.

The owners are to blame for an overall lack of investment, but pelle wanted Husilious, he also wanted Fornals instead of a proper centre mid.

The owners are here to make money - thats all they care about. Being relegated is too big of a risk for them, so they need to do something quickly.

The blame has to rest with the manager for allowing Roberto to come in the squad - he is at least accountable for 1 gift a game to the opposition. The players are not exactly going to be confident going into every game knowing they have an uphill battle before a ball is kicked.

I blame the manager mainly and then the players for not earning their extortionate wages. Even when you have a shit keeper, you have to give your best every game - which they clearly are not.

For multiple seasons we've had lethargic starts to the season, a lack of effort, slow players bought on a budget to fill the squad, headless chickens bought. Under NONE of our managers these have employed have i felt that the manager has got the exact players he wants except maybe Allardyce but he was shopping for their type of player in the main.

The only consistencies are 'bad runs of form', injuries to key players with lame back up & them being the owners.

Re: The Owners
"Sulli and Goldo have a deep love of the club as we do".

Can't see this at all.
All I see is people who took over the club for their own personal gain, not for the best interests of West Ham United. It was all about getting the OS, nothing else.
When I see coverage of them sitting their in the directors seats, I don't see fans, I see people looking over their investment. I see people not seeing players run around on a pitch, but various bags of money.
When they took over, they had no clue about how important our history was to us. Brady wanted to rebrand us within a week. The ex players were treated very badly and were only taken back when they realized how sacred some of them legends and cult players still are.
Since the day they took over, it has to be the longest blackest period for West Ham and this goes on with no end in sight.

Re: The Owners
The cancer and poison in our club which is slowly filling all the cracks that are appearing.

Everything over there at the moment from the manager, to the playing squad, the ticketing, the media team, the PR, the stadium, everyone that works in the stadium.

All of it is shit, and is not next level or any better from UP. Theyve taken the soul out of West Ham. They have had enough time to fulfill their promises and they have failed.

Step aside and let someone else take the baton. Thats what a genuine fan would do, thats what a fan that wants the best for West Ham United would do.

I hope they get forced out ASAP.

Re: The Owners
As much as I despise them, i can’t blame them for the current run of form. That is down to the players and the manager.

Has anyone seen National Lampoons European vacation?. Chevvy Chase brings his family to Europe he gets to London and hires a car and whilst driving he approaches a roundabout, now being used to driving on the right hand side of the road in America Chevvy enters onto the roundabout and then keeps on going round and round not knowing how to exit, THAT IS WEST HAM UTD right now. It feels like a never ending bloody nightmare does this club.

Re: The Owners
They pretend they are fans so we ignore their business practices.

They are here to make money and nothing else. If we stay in the premierleague we make money no matter what.

You either have stupidly rich owners where it is all about your toy being better than your stupidly rich peers toy.

You have local businessmen who fancy a go at football but can never put up the cash to match any ambition.

Or you have our lot that have made a lucrative living out of our football club and have sold its future for their profit. They have no interest in trying to compete with the mega spenders and never will so give up on this idea that they want to win stuff - if they do it’s just a bonus.
