Good to see S Africa strengthen their T20 team by bringing back Rabada , Steyn & Du Plessis.

Good to see Dan LAWRENCE with another century for the Lions against Aus A.

England should have won all 3 games. The first game was won until the batting meltdown, the second was done until overs 18 and 19, and yesterday was never in doubt.

SA should not have been in it.

I think you could say both teams could have won each of the 3 games.
Close games are of more benefit than just wins at the moment

I see S Africa are bringing back Rabada, Steyn & Du Plessis for the next series against Australia. Now appears more likely they will add ABDeV closer to the World Cup than insist he plays this far out.

East London game looked brilliant; can imagine intimate ground, vast quantities of meat on the braii, swilling cold beer or chilly white and watching a close game England should have won.

Warner played, Smith wasn’t needed.

In hindsight both batsmen could have had a rest from the recent embarrassing Test series as well to keep them fresh for a harder upcoming contest against Bangladesh

I think Warner and Smith were playing in that game, so there was obviously some cheating going on.

Mickey MORGAN may have won the World Cup but my lasting.memory of him will always be him successfully claiming a catch with his foot.on the boundary rope right in front of me.

Scum cheat.

Morgan is something else when he gets his eye in.

FMOB, what a result, is that highest run chase?

Nope. Not even for England (230) or all comers (245, convicts). Internationals, not domestic.

Auckland 2018
NZ 243/6 20 overs
Australia 245/5 18.5 overs

Re: England tour of South Africa
Good series for both sides to have 3 last over games with pressure on to build towards the World Cup.
I’m guessing Morgan’s 7 sixes with 0 fours is a record for most 6’s without a 4?

If AB DeVilliers is going to play in the World Cup (he probably is) he should be playing here or against Australia rather than just raking in IPL cash.

Re: England tour of South Africa
To chase down 223 in a T20 that easily is frankly ridiculous

Taxi for Morgan.

He should have quit after the world cup win.

Glad he didn't.

Job done. Morgan outstanding.

Enjoyable series though its far from my favourite format.
