Global warming and Climate change
Been in Sydney for 26 year but never experienced anything like the past month before, fires, smoke and the heat some days is fucking unbearable, just a hot dry summer or are Greta Thunberg and all the Activist types right and we are all fucked in the near future?

What’s the verdict from WHO?

According to Bolty there is a cabal of global scientists looking to replace the Saudi royal family at the top of the pile. Greta is in on the scheme.

It’s why you always need a mix of generation. Nat gas works really well with renewables as you can ramp it up in an instant, like turning a gas cooker on.

What you do when you build out renewables is narrow the amount of time to need to run gas.

Of course the huge advantage of renewables is that they essentially have zero fuel costs - making rio’s whining a waste of energy.

But when you talk about generation mix - what normally comes with persistent high pressure Rios?

I can see all those scientists fondling their money now.

Re: Global warming and Climate change
E.On reported that in winter onshore wind turbines can only be relied upon to produce 8% of their stated capacity. This is due in part to seasonal high pressure systems that become static across northern europe.

But don't worry, the consumer (disproportionately the poorest) is paying a huge surcharge on their energy bills to ensure the return on investment (guaranteed by government policy) for very rich people as you celebrated earlier.

You are a mug if you believe this shit.

Enjoy your sauna.

The wind drops locally like you are an Essex peasant, meanwhile a grid is not local, by definition.

Re: Global warming and Climate change
The european grid that means power from russian or norwegian gas, or german coal.

How will you power the wind turbines when the wind drops?

What happens is the cities are connected to a European grid and I get to chill out in the sauna.

You missed the word "reliable"

What happens on a windless, winter night?

Then there are all the current ingenious systems in place for replacing fossil drop out with hydraulic reservoir release.

Bullshit - the Baltic alone can produce enough turbine source to replace current coal capacity.

You can not produce enough reliable renewable energy in Poland to replace fossil fuel use. At present Poland has a fair bit of energy independence.

Why is Israel fucked, it seemed ok last time I was there. I hope Nablus continues to produce its soap for many years to come. Its quite a small place, not sure if you have been there. Its also WB under PA, so not an existential threat to Israel.

Mix of various renewables plugged into a European grid, ЦОЦК.

The State of Israel is fucked.

At the moment 75% of Polish electricity is produced by coal.

How will the bigger cities in Poland heat their homes and offices in winter without coal or gas?

Pay attention ЦОЦК; the ancient and noble soap makers of Nablus are coming back into their own.

I'm trying to crowd fund a visit to chair a forum in village with Jakub, Pawel, Cabbige and Piotr.

Pickle is out of control, cabbige whomailed me and told me Pickle has been pestering Pawel's grandmother when she is having her monthly bath. He is a pervert. He stands there at her window doing chicken impressions.

Re: Global warming and Climate change
I was only exchanging your total irrelevance for something more pertinent.

See, what is happening here is open-pit lignite mining is being replaced by solar power generation.

The State of Israel is about to become irrelevant and the ancient and noble soap-makers of Nablus will soon, hopefully, come back into their own.

I don’t understand that when you start damaging property you aren’t arrested.
If West Ham fans started smashing up London Stadium as a ‘protest’ at the next home match would police stand by and watch?

What is the relevance?

Is this some sort of Polish village threat? Will I be surrounded by jewish skeletons down there?
