Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
Perhaps the Labour party ought to go the whole hog and elect a posh ex-Etonian as their leader?

Recent statistics would show this to be the most likely route to winning a general election.

He's creaming over Starmer like he's the new messiah. But then Jones is fuck all more than a media luvvie, the epitome of the smug Guardian reading elite, the ultimate plastic socialist.

What's he done now, kronic, or is just being in existence enough to call him a cunt?

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
Yeah, whatever were they thinking not continuing down the loony left pathway that has seen them do so well in the last few elections?

_________

Last few elections? You're including the defeats under centrists Brown and MIlliband then. And Starmer is fuck all more than Milliband Mk 2 - only more wooden.

Talking of cunts - Owen fucking Jones

Whatever your political views, HMG would benefit greatly from/needs a strong opposition, not just a rag-tag of individuals consistently taking cheap political pot-shots at the elected authority from the sidelines.

I understood it was 4 girls who refused to cooperate with any court case.
The CPS decides whether there is a reasonable chance of conviction and proceeds or not on that basis. No victims agreeing to cooperate indicates that that was unlikely particularly against a Knight of the Realm.
An honour that was finally granted in Margaret Thatchers final resignation list of recommendations after she had been knocked back 4 previous times and obviously advised this was because there were question marks about his behaviour. The Lady wasn’t for turning though and finally succeeded in getting the Paedo his Knighthood which further helped to shield his activities.

In 2009 Jimmy Saville was interviewed about child sex offences, and plod wanted him charged over 3 underage girls. The CPS decided not to prosecute, a decision which must have come from the very top!
Guess who was in charge of the CPS back then! Yes you guessed it the new leader of her majesty's opposition.

Well Sir Keir was maybe the best of a bad lot, good luck to him, he will need it.

And thank fuck that Long Baily woman didnt get it, that really would have been curtains for the Labour Party.

So, another bland, chinless, dehydrated short back and sides from the privileged wing of the Labour Party.

Why don't they just call themselves Whigs and be done with the whole fucking sorry show once and for all.

Cuntes

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
Dennis would agree he is a serf.

Dennis: Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society. If there's ever gonna be any progress...

Peasant Woman: Dennis! There's some lovely filth down here... Oh! How do you do?

[Dennis joins the Peasant Woman in the nearby filth patch]

King Arthur: How do you do, good lady? I am Arthur, king of the Britons. Whose castle is that?

Peasant Woman: King of the who?

King Arthur: The Britons.

Peasant Woman: Who're the "Britons"?

King Arthur: Well, we all are. We're all Britons, and I am your king.

Peasant Woman: Didn't know we had a king. I thought we were an autonomous collective.

Dennis: You're fooling yourself. We're living in a dictatorship! A self-perpetuating autocracy, in which the working classes...

Peasant Woman: Oh, there you go, bringing class into it again.

Dennis: Well, that's what it's all about! If only people would--

King Arthur: Please, please, good people, I am in haste. Who lives in that castle?

Peasant Woman: No one lives there.

King Arthur: Then who is your lord?

Peasant Woman: We don't have a lord.

King Arthur: What?

Dennis: I told you, we're an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to act as sort of executive officer for the week...

King Arthur: Yes...

Dennis: ...but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting...

King Arthur: Yes I see...

Dennis: ...by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs...

King Arthur: Be quiet! I order you to be quiet!

Peasant Woman: "Order", eh? Who does he think he is?

King Arthur: I am your king.

Peasant Woman: Well, I didn't vote for you.

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party

In general there is a split at either end of the economic spectrum towards each side of politics ..... but

Plenty of low income people like being told what to do by born to rule posh types and adore a 90yo living in a palace at the end of the Mall.
And plenty of comfortably off and rich people believe government can be socially liberal while looking after ALL the people.

Does this Sir Shift Back Towards The Middle Bloke represent any inspiring choice for the British public in a party that’s still including champagne socialists along with lefty fruitcakes and half wits (hi Dianne)?
Very little that connects with the average person in all the Northern constituencies that ran screaming from Comrade Jeremy.

I live in hope that one day we’ll have a government in power that the majority of those that voted did not oppose.
