A great film to watch out of your head on mind bending drugs is Mandy with Nicholas Cage. Just the right role for the overacting mental case.

Unhinged is a good 90 min yarn. If you like that type of yarn look up 'Honest Thief' with Liam Neelson.

Unhinged is worth a watch quite gripping if a bit far fetched. Fat bastard Russel Crowe stars a gladiator he isn't.

The Mauritanian, 2 hours long, could have been done in 45 mins, bit of a slog.

Brilliant film Sold. Bit of useless trivia it was the first and only X-rated film to win the Academy Award for best picture....
I'm giving up on a mates suggestion for movies on Prime. He is a bit of a Jason Statham fan and I've given up on those so he suggests "The War with Grandpa". Must be good with a cast like Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken and Uma Thurman but oh dear. How sad it is to see the likes of De Niro and Walken in such tosh. I guess the new houses the film pays for make it worth it!

Thunderforce on netflix.
Absolutely fucking abysmal (but then it's got Melissa Mccarthy, so it's as shit as I expected) wife inexplicably liked it.

Saw Enter the Void a few years ago. Stunning film at the time and yes, total trip experience.
Caught Two Distant Strangers on Netflix, short film, another Groundhog Day/Run Lola Run type storyline, used here with a major BLM slant.

I was expecting much but I enjoyed Palm Springs on Prime last night. A fresh take on Groundhog Day, funny and not strung out

Watched Run, Hide Fight the other night. Good little thriller about a school shooting that doesn’t glamorise the subject

I really want to see that. It looks fantastic and will hit a nerve in the many people who have experienced something like that in a close relative.

Watched nomadland couple of days ago. Not bad but not great.
Although it'd a movie about a woman travelling all around America The film itself doesn't seem to go anywhere!

Avoid one doing the rounds on Prime called Exposed With Keanu Reeves. Turned off after 40 minutes and looked up the ending on Moviepooper. Tedious and boring to say the least.
