Watched Triangle of Sadness
Half the time, I was wondering where it was going. Plenty of time taken up with stuff that was hard to place into a plot.
The storm scenes with Woody Harrelson is brilliant though and it came together at the end. Not sure how to rate it really

Top Gun, massive box office success though it was, doesn't tick ANY boxes.

'How it’s the favourite to win Best Picture at the Oscars is truly beyond me.'
It's because it's up against that pretentious Banshees shit. Auteur film-making, don't you know. In quite big capital letters.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is an almighty humongous pile of horrific shit. I had to switch off after an hour, and I rarely do that with any film. Maybe the second half of it suddenly became incredible?!
How it’s the favourite to win Best Picture at the Oscars is truly beyond me.

I liked Everything Everywhere All the Time. Everyone else who I know that has seen it hates it.

Agree. Everything Everywhere All the Time was non sense. Trouble is it's getting Rave reviews. Feels bit like the Emporers new clothes in that if you can't see the genius in it then you must be thick. I must be thick then.

Watched Banshees, wouldn't quite say a masterpiece, but it's a cracking film with great acting, not to mention the scenery. Fancy it will win best picture.

Watched "All The Presidents Men" again last night for the first time in years, and it's a real masterpiece and a fabulous cast. I don't think Redford gets enough credit because he has a hell of a history of top films.

Watched it last night, thought it was ok as it goes. No product placement racial casting or woke agenda stuff, so that made it easier to watch
