This coronavirus in China
|
anyone else worried? 9 dead so far.
CNY soon so the virus will spread very quickly if they cannot control it. It'll be in Europe by the end of CNY if not earlier.
is this the end of humanity?

But its just an outlier, like when people die from an experimental vaccine, these things happen remember?
Just remember, over 50% of covid deaths will be people who have received the vaccine now.

Anyone see the Telegraph story on a bloke’s cancer being nearly all cleared up after contracting covid?
There are always positives for everything.
How ironic if Covid-19 turned out to be the cure for cancer.

This ESL bollocks is not why the stadiums were empty, but the stadiums being empty is a big part of why the ESL bollocks is being pushed for.
These scumbag owners have wanted this for a while, but lockdown has made them desperate for it. Maybe even a bit by the fact that as of this morning, 4 of the 6 were below West Ham and Leicester.

4 deaths. Probably all over 70, so all vaccinated.
So, 4 deaths within 28 days of receiving the vaccine.

Now we know why fans have been removed from football stadiums - get people used to the idea of empty stadiums and fake crowd noise in readiness for the not so Super League.

Thankfully the entry requirements for the senior jobs are quite high.
Helps keep all the gold in a fairly small pot for us to share. 😁

It's a fairly specialist area though, isn't it?
Even the mind-numbingly dumb task of document creation (perfect work for the mind-numbingly dumb) is highly specialized.

It is funny how rarely people leave pharma to go and work in another industry.
In fact I can't think of any?

10,000,000 doses of free vaccine given to NGOs/Charities is simply a write-off.
10,000,000 doses of the same vaccine given to the same NGOs/Charities at $40 a pop is now a charitable donation and can be offset against their tax liabilities.
They can't fucking lose.

Mike is correct, as soon as the pandemic is declared over the vaccine prices increase by a factor four (in the case of AZ)

Frankly this is not really being discussed in general pharma circles.
Vaccines are such a small part of the overall business (approx 5%), the majority of my colleagues are focused on how quickly patients can be brought back to diagnosis and treatment for 'regular' conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes etc), a lot of which has been under-reported and under-treated over the last year with the increased difficulty of accessing healthcare for non-Covid conditions.

If the pandemic is officially over, does that not mean that "Big Pharma" can now use market forces to determine the price of the Covid vaccines?

It's over a month since the 7DMA deaths dropped below the 100 suggested by the Superforecasters would mark the end of the pandemic. On the 16th of March.
