This coronavirus in China
|
anyone else worried? 9 dead so far.
CNY soon so the virus will spread very quickly if they cannot control it. It'll be in Europe by the end of CNY if not earlier.
is this the end of humanity?

Great news for our EU friends and neighbours.
"The European Union will get 50 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine months earlier than expected.
It’s good news for the bloc’s slow and struggling inoculation programme, after further setbacks with the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccines due to rare side effects."
The Pfizer jabs were initially expected at the end of the year, but they will now arrive by the end of June.

The true story of Willtell's vaccination.
Turns up wrong day for appointment. Speaks French like the postman in "Ello Ello" and they can't understand him. Fills in form incorrectly as he pretends he can read French properly. Doesn't even spell name correctly. Finally feeling sorry for the old fool they him a gab. Doses off in chair for 15mins waiting for non existent tea and biscuits. Staff finally tell him to fuck off home.

I really don't see the purpose of waiting till June to relax all the imposed rules. If the numbers have been tampered with, it makes a mockery of the current state of play today. LET US OUT BORIS YOU FUCKING NOBBER

It was always trying to prevent the health services being swamped that was the driver behind the actions of the authorities.
Wasn't "sexy" enough for the MSM so it became the deadly black plague and social media eagerly followed.

Even going along with the sexed up figures, the virus can still be described as follows: it's worse than flu; more infectious and more deadly, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not significantly worse than flu. No need to panic, this is not a civilisation ending disease.
Going by these new figures, there is even less reason to panic.
The human race is not in danger from this virus, but our economies are more in danger than ever from the lockdown because of how much money is being printed and leant to us.
The only people laughing are big banks, big tech, big pharma, and anyone else clever enough to think of ways of profiting from this shitshow. I know of a printing firm here who have made weird hay while this weird sun has been shining. They simply got in early making sign for shops that tell you to where a face mask, or how far you should distance etc.
Capitalism is mostly capitalising on the changing world, rather like natural selection. It's not survival of the best and fittest, but survivial of those who fit in best.

Might get a lower figure if you do the simple artithmetic of divding the deaths by cases...

To add - for several months we were recording anyone who’d ever had a positive covid test and died as a covid death. So as well as the obvious flaw in that you need to consider how Many of those were false positive tests, particularly in the early days when testing was new

The telegraph is absolutely a tabloid rag dressed up as a broadsheet. It changes hands recently for pittance and is now run by click bait merchants. Be wary of anything they write.
Regardless of the above deaths in the U.K. from covid have been massively stated. I don’t know If anyone else can recall but the gov came under a lot of flack early on for their lack of data on covid deaths. In typical reactioniary style they then went the other way and started recording covid as the main cause even if it was clearly not. The gov fucked themselves right over

The League Cup final is allowing 8,000 fans 2,000 from each club & 4,000 NHS staff & local residents
These numbers seem very cautious and need to ramp up quickly. By the time every adult has been offered a jab it should go to full stadia and you enter at your own risk.

Lilz, I've always been struck by the simple arithmetic of dividing cases by deaths, and seeing a huge number in the UK which isn't matched anywhere else in the world.
Either we have the worst health care in the world, or someone is cooking the books.

The number of deaths registered in the UK in the week ending 2 April 2021 was 9,458, which was 2,088 fewer than the five-year average; of deaths registered in the UK in Week 13, 450 involved COVID-19 (350 lower than in Week 12).
You don’t really have MM screeching from the rooftops about the massive drop in deaths.
I said last year that if we have a bad moment we!re going to have a good moment to compensate.

Then billions again for the MP sponsoring big Pharma.
