This coronavirus in China
anyone else worried? 9 dead so far.

CNY soon so the virus will spread very quickly if they cannot control it. It'll be in Europe by the end of CNY if not earlier.

is this the end of humanity?

never waste a good opportunity sold old son.

papers making a bit of noise about the MONSTER VARIANT? perfect time to flex those muscles a bit, let the plebs know who's boss. also comes with a little approval boost from the daily mail curtain twitchers while taking the wind out of the sails of the lockdown fantasists on the left.

Taken from the front line of the new MONSTER virus

SA Times

There is currently “much uncertainty about the implications of the variant in terms of disease severity, transmissibility and ability to escape immunity” but indications are that protection by the vaccine against severe disease and death “will be largely maintained”.

There's a theme with the more authoritarian types on here. For those that are of an opposing view to the government narrative, every response is an ad hominem attack.

My favourite one was, "Do not stand to close to the platform edge as the train approaches, as you may get sucked off"

Never happened to me to my knowledge.

Extremely rare medical condition at Wycombe reminds me of the continual announcements at railway stations...

"if you notice anything unusual then please report it to blah, blah, blah"

By unusual do they mean a train running on time?

And another 'extremely rare' medical emergency in the crowd at the wycombe game today led to the game being stopped for a while.

Interesting game in Portugal.

Belenenses could only field 9 players vs Benfica including the reserve keeper at right back due to a covid outbreak.

They were 7-0 down at half time when the match was called off.

Northen
I don't agree with most of your comments but bars in Belgium have to close at 11 at clubs at 1am.
Like the variant will be refused entry after 1am or 11pm.
or folks won't be snogging each other to the last dance at 12.55

That cunt Khan bragging about how he has had compulsory masks on TFL for months. Not that you would know that from being on the underground.

Unless you're a bit dim or quite mad like GO, then the obvious reponse is to be over, than under cautious, until you know what you're dealing with.
