A performance which would beat Brighton against Liverpool, and a performance which would beat a walking football team against Brighton.

3-0 down at half time, rip roaring second half where we get it back to 3-2, last minute equalizer chalked off for the fuck of it by VAR. very west ham that.

Funny you should mention that I dislocated my kneecap on the train from Liverpool st to the then Olympic stadium 1st visit, not the 1st time I’d done it and pushed it back but maybe I should of took heed

Would like to see them really get stuck in to Liverpool & show some passion but I guess with one eye on the Brighton game this may not happen.
Noble to score & be sent off in a 3.1 defeat.

This new czech fella to twist his knee taking his seat at the stadium.

The ball is round the saying goes but when it comes to West ham Utd it also weighs either 30 killos or half a gram.

I cannot see any positives from this game unless every Liverpool player gets violent food poisoning and at least three of their team play with one leg tied behind their backs that is how awful I believe our squad is right now.

Every club's fans says the same thing about their own team.

It would just be a freak result. The only positive result tonight is to somehow nick a draw. I'd be fucking astounded if it happens.

Liverpool HT/FT is printing money if you're not a West Ham fan.

Re: the west ham way
Given our historical record against them, it would be very un-West Ham to beat them.

Much more West Ham would be to rush back Fabianski, go 4 nil down in a game he can do nothing about, and then have him rupture his thigh rushing out to save a forward on-rushing for their 5th goal.

Equally West Ham would be for Haller to put in his best performance, score a worldie, and then break his leg in injury time.

Lastly, it would be very West Ham for Declan Rice to get sent off and be out for the Brighton game.

I can think of some very 'West Ham' things, but beating Liverpool tonight is not one of them.

That cheeky Scouser Cresswell to score an OG, and Adrian to have a stormer and keep out all our 22 shots on target.

Re: the west ham way
It would be very West Ham to play 3 over 30s in this game.

It would be very West Ham to get beat 6-0 and say we had positives from the game.

Re: the west ham way
going 2-0 up only to lose 2-6 is more like it.

mixed in with some career ending injuries to key players.

Generally it will be a load of knicker wetting for a few days and then somebody having a vague hope we might win an unwinnable game.

Re: the west ham way
It would be equally West Ham to lose 8-0

Re: the west ham way
Or lose 64, 75 or 80 nil.
