West Ham United v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Not a match but a comparison of the clubs ...
Bumbling idiot owners v Chinese who have no public profile but just support the football people running the club

Serial negative dinosaur of a manager v Articulate passionate intelligent positive football man

Half hearted dismal players v Exciting young hungry attacking team

Athletics stadium v Football stadium

Dispirited fans who have been ground down v Optimistic fans who must run to the ground on match day

How have we got to this state .... and can we ever get to what they have shown is achievable for a middle sized club?

They are a successful and more planned out version of what West Ham were trying to do with Tevez or the weird thing liverpool and Southampton had going on.

Work with a super agent and park up players in the premierleague to expose them to a bigger market and then sell on for huge profits whilst playing good football.

Wolves will lose a few players in the summer and then have ready made Portuguese replacements.

Wolves have always had fantastic support.

We had a super agent (Kia J) try and buy us with some Russian money.
Shame it never came off.

Yep, leave the running and planning of the football side of the business to those that know what they are doing.

Mind you having Mendy and the manager with their Portugal connection has worked a treat.

Sullivan still relying on Silkman, Mackay Jhr and Salthouse? ( Sh*thouse probably the right spelling).

Re: West Ham United v Wolverhampton Wanderers
they've obviously done incredibly which is annoying as one of my best friends is a wolves fan and i used to take great pleasure in saying "i dont follow the lower leagues" to wind him up.

They have spent an awful lot of money too im sure they were in the top 4 on that infamous net spend chart david Gold retweeted, but they've signed really well.

Not sure how they've kept within FFP and there is something fishy with this agent connection they have so wouldnt surprise me if they werent looked at in more detail should they really start to threaten the big boys.

There have to potential to access more money than we do and have a pretty sweet agent connections.

But have used those resources much better than we have ours, it has to be said.

To be honest the bit I put at the end was more an end result of the things above on both sides rather than a criticism of either.
Just saying it’s not that long ago that Wolves were bumping along in the Championship (and lower before that) and they seem to have overtaken and sped away to the mythical NEXT LEVEL that we were promised.
