What do (or did) you do for a living?
Are you working from home, how does it affect your ability to do your job?

What do you miss about being at work?

I work in building management and am still on site for now. But there's only a few of us left here in Harlow.

Worked in construction for the last 30 years(concrete frames)with some success, not really been too fussed since covid in recent months due to subbies getting knocked left, right and centre and new legislation.
Now sticking to only doing domestic basements for wealthly clients which are mostly the wrong side of London for me and a pain in the arse but pay well.
Another five years tops, buy the kids a gaff local and fuck off to the sticks.

Sorry, I overestimated your sophistication - he's a cripple, now incapable of causing you any harm, and, if he was dead, he wouldn't be the living advert for what happens if you're crossed.

If anything, you should pay me double.

Worked in corporate travel for 20 years, covid tore the arse out of it, so took redundancy and luckily got a job doing logistics for a construction company. Actually worked out better for me.

The trick with that is learning to manage business expectations. I did all sorts temping (does that still exist?) while failing to become a professional rock musican. I played shit loads of gigs with a lot of bands but never made any money at it. Filing, data entry, office removal, building site labourer, building maintenance.
Was a civil servant for the MoD for 10 years doing accounts and admin in weapons procurement and them drifted by accident into programming which I have done for the last 25+ years. Had brief spells as a data architect (which I kind of enjoyed) and project management (which I hated and was useless at). Have stuck to being a code monkey for the last 15 years as I both love it and am really good at it.It suits my brain.
Intend to stick at it as long as I can as it keeps my mind alive and agile.

I had a steady job hauling items for the mob, I know the pay was pathetic, it's a shame those boys couldn't be more copacetic.

Assassinating Bamford is probably not the best strategy.

Getting Leeds relegated, and buying him looks better... but... how much you paying?

Worked in hospitality for 12 years at a high level but got fed up of the hours, been working as a sprayer in a dogshit factory last 6 years but its 10 mins down the road mon-thurs 8-5 and 8-12 on a Friday so I could spend more time with my family go football with my boy have bank holidays of etc...but like I say it's a shithole.

Had two petrol stations is 2004, a big cafe, ice cream parlour, and also was a director of eight restaurants.

Then I got sick.

Now on invalidity pension of €208 a week.

At least we’re in the Champs League places though :)

I've just texted you the exact location of Patrick Bamford, geeps. I'll sort you out when I next see you.

Assassin.

Doesn't really work online, and I've been a bit reluctant to go through the furloughing paperwork. Don't really trust Data Protection.

Hard times.

Work for a professional services firm and have done for the last 14 years. I've also been working from home for the last 4/5 which become a permanent thing this year.

Lucky to have a job in these things, but long for my investments to game off so I can retire in my late 30s.
