Don't usually post these but I thought he was a fabulous actor, very under rated.
If anyone hasn't seen the tv movie "To Catch a Killer" where he played John Gacy look it up, he was chilling. Brilliant adaptation.

Yes, very good as Gacy, one of my favourite serial killers. Innovative and undoubtedly one of the greats.

Often seemed to play an ageing, disgruntled cop or sheriff.
As mentioned, was great as John Wayne Gacy, just the right amount of creepy as fuck, without over doing it.

Shame
First memory of him was probably First Blood - the kind of real Rambo movie.
Most recently, from my watching, he played a sheriff in Hap and Leonard - decent show.
Did a pretty good Willy Loman in a TV Death of a Salesman I saw a long time ago.
