I might add that I have been stopped once by Mpls OB but no neck restraint in my case, although he did have his hand close to his gun

I've read that some police departments have banned that particular neck restraint while others allow it, whether Mpls OB allow it is up for question?

You're right re it being part of police training though it's training for people who are resisting. As he clearly wasn't resisting whilst being filmed I don't think that will help him.

The 2nd degree murder thing though is nonsense. He was clearly an arrogant violent prick (the cop) but he was not trying to murder him. I presume he'll end up getting done for third degree murder

In England we have something called the eggshell skull rule which means that even if a person dies because they are weakened in some way, the person who was responsible for the act is still criminally liable if their actions directly led to them dying. ( or along those lines) Not sure if the yanks have a similar rule but I’d imagine it’s likely.

Afternoon, Billy - none too bad, cheers. I trust all the excitement of a no-deal Brexit is keeping you chipper.

I'm no lawyer either mate but as others have said, forcibly closing off the windpipe of someone who is already demonstrably struggling to breathe is hardly the stuff of Dixon of Dock Green is it?

To be fair, anybody necking the amount of disco biscuits that Floyd did prior to being nicked, is going to struggle.

Hello Fo,hope all is well.

Dunno mate,I'm no lawyer. I'm guessing the copper'a brief will suggest Floyd was struggling before the altercation?

Anyone who kneels on someone's neck who's complaining they can't breathe for any length of time indicates they are homicidal to be fair.

"Floyd was sitting on the kerb complaining of breathing difficulties before a cop went anywhere near him."

Not sure this will help the copper's case much.

Re: Minneapolis Police Officer Kneel on Motionless Man’s Neck — Until He Dies
I was listening to (the excellent) Dougla Murray earlier in conversation with Michael Shermer and a couple of things about the Floyd case came to light that I was previously unaware of,stuff that a decent defence lawyer would pounce on when this goes to court.

The knee on the neck move is part of the concerned police depts training process so in effect, the accused cop was following his training manual.

The charge is now 2and degree murder which means the prosecution has to prove that the cop killed Floyd intentionally.

Floyd was sitting on the kerb complaining of breathing difficulties before a cop went anywhere near him.

This shows me that in a fair trial the cop could well get off with murder which leads me to think that should this happen following a Trump victory America will fucking explode.

* Snowflakes: None of the above mean I condone the cop or his actions before any of you get upset

Here's a fascinating tale as told by a strong independent Nubian queen trying to exercise her right to protest being compromised in some way by a bigoted white woman who didn't quite understand the unwritten rule that jumping on someone's car in vast numbers and terrorising them doesn't appear to be quite as peaceful a protest as your college professor told them it was when viewed from the perspective of the one who was driving the car at the time.

The ratios are as you would expect, only the hero of this story, its author, still cannot quite understand how and why it's not supported by the general public, despite CNN, Coca Cola, Bank of America and dozens of other Soros owned subsidiaries telling us all it is universally approved and necessary to bring about justice and equality or something.

Staggered at how this bollocks is still running rampant over there, it seems the rest of the world are caught in a bit of crossfire of this political subversion against the states, shows how all the globalised West is being targeted for this commie psy-op.

As you can see the public are busy helping him get over his realisation the old joke of,
"A liberal is someone who hasn't been mugged yet" is only funny because it's true, with the expected empathy you could expect from the internet.

BLM activist kneels on white toddler's neck and proclaims that BLM.

Little coverage outside conservative media. Guaranteed wall to wall international coverage if the races were reversed.

Cabbage and Pickle are the best comedy odd couple and refreshing on threads that descend into personal squabbles and political agendas.
