With all these media outlets interviewing her and making her more popular, she'll be raking in the money. Give it a year or 2 and she'll be invited into the I'm a Celebrity jungle.

Send her back to Bangladesh, even if it'd result in a load of CRUSHED ASIANS.

It was her Islamic environment that made her do what she did, definitely not her British environment as she rejected that hence it’s been taken away for good Brenty…..you fit in with us within these borders and we have a standout history of standing up to religions dictating how we should behave which as it was done at a leadership level caused wars and attempts at invasion ….both those factors mean you can expect to be fucked off out of it if you don’t adhere to what are these days fairly liberal requirements

Is that Shamima Crabegum?
Should we be sending the crab to the UK or Bangladesh?
Answer me that.

Groomed? Do me a lemon. She went to enjoy watching people having their heads cut off and being tortured. Unfortunately the country was stuffed decades before this became an issue

Meanwhile, who wants to see a pet crab (surprisingly delicately) eat an onion ring?

What, exactly, would YOU do if you received such a letter about YOUR teenage daughter?

Or how about the police and security agencies just do their jobs properly? They knew about this but didn't want to compromise their intelligence sources, instead they gave the girls a letter to give to their parents (didn't bother with sending it direct or speaking directly to them) which unsurprisingly they never got.

The government could stop this sort of thing today.
YOU would have to give up the internet for them to do so - or at best have somebody monitoring everything YOU post & everything YOU read - stopping YOU posting or reading anything THEY deem unsuitable..

If she or anyone travelled to the UK to do what she travelled to Syria to do, I'd want them executed.
Probably not the answer you wanted but hey ho

That's what I said. We/the government and powers that be created the conditions for her and others to become radicalised so it's our problem.
If the shoe was on the other foot and she had somehow ended up here and was a citizen of another country then you,'d be happy to accept her, and not call for her to be deported to her own country?

"Our problem, we can't just dump her anywhere else, that's unfair on that country and cowardly."
Oh leave off will ya.
Firstly its not "our" problem, "we" didn't create it (me and you). A hostile element that our leaders have imported and enabled for fucking years caused this and "we" have quite frankly suffered it enough.
Secondly our leaders' priority isn't "fairness" to another country, its to the British people, that's how its supposed to work anyway. For once they've put the British public first and that's a very rare win.
Now about the other 400 walking around scott-free....

Seems the police and security agencies (surprise surprise) knew all about it but didn't stop the girls due to fear of compromising their intelligence.
Idiotically they gave the girls letters to give to their parents to warn them and guess what, the parents never got the letters.

That's not how grooming works though. Once sucked in online you are told to behave completely normally to parents, teachers, friends etc. You don't give yourself away. Whether it's isis, the far right or nowadays trans influencers, kids are told don't share anything with your parents, they're evil / ignorant.
It's not like they have posters of Bin Laden on their bedroom walls.

I suspect only some of her teachers may have had an ethnicity issue and have been unwilling to speak up.
The others, in the examples I gave, would almost certainly have shared her ethnicity and therefore not be under the same liberal oppression. What, then, kept them quiet?

You also need to ask why here automatic entitlement to Bangladeshi citizenship not revoked (long) before this happened.
Can't blame the UK for that.

Re: Shamima Begum

Exactly Mike. That was my point. The environment here in the UK created her. The powers that be have been too scared of being accused of being "Islamophobic" to tackle the issues in an open and honest way. Instead they have allowed this to go unchecked and used the diversity & racism card to sweep it under the carpet. You only have to look at Rotherham and the many other places where grooming was allowed to go unchallenged for 20 years because of the ethnicity of the groomers. That's just one example but there are others where extreme behaviour has not been dealt with so we've effectively encouraged it.
Our problem, we can't just dump her anywhere else, that's unfair on that country and cowardly.

"I believe that the grooming was online and from people based abroad"
So what were those in the UK charged with supporting her welfare and well being as she moved from childhood to adulthood (parents, teachers, aunts, uncles, elder cousins, Imams...) actually doing while she was being "groomed"?
Personally I suspect that they were all more sympathetic to her thoughts and beliefs than is being let on.

Mashed
I believe that the grooming was online and from people based abroad. Her friend was one of those groomers but then she had also been subject to same online indoctrination. So it's more complex than domestic extremists... It's international and that makes it more difficult for government to address.
