Jeremy Ngakia to Watford - WTF?

I simply cannot fathom this situation. He is a remarkable talent, a young man David Moyes wanted to keep at the club and was bitterly disappointed he decided to leave.
I just assumed he was off to Liverpool or City but, Watford??
Has anyone got any insight into this?

Understand him wanting to go and search first team football .But going Watford is a strange one......not likely to have much stability in terms of the manager etc if recent history is anything to go by.
