What’s wrong with Josh Cullen?
|
What’s wrong with him? He was left out the squad.
But he’s young, hungry and might well do better than Noble, who now turns like an oil tanker and move through treacle.
It’s hardly like we've got rich pickings. Could be a cheap midfield solution.
Can someone enlighten me here?

Was one of our best players. As said would have been a much better option than someone like Carlos Sanchez coming off the bench. Reminds me of Noble but a bit quicker.

Decent first half, disappeared for long spells in the second. At least he moves to receive the ball and is generally fairly tidy. Does remind me a bit of a young Noble but without the vision and passing range.

Played well tonight.
Can’t be worse than Noble... surely?

His name for a start, Josh?? Why can't he have a proper footballers name like Wayne or Lee

Times not right to sell him. They are keeping for Christmas.

Yeah, he seems like one of those players that will be good in the Championship or lower down.He has a quick brain and his passing and control is good but just seems to lack the physical qualities ( size, pace etc) to cut it in the Premiership?.
Would love to see him or Coventry develop further and prove me wrong but as everyone says they probably will both end up plying their trade at a lower level.

Personally I don't think he'll make it at the top level, at least not before dropping down and potentially finding his way back. But he certainly couldn't do much worse right now. Worth a try but what I've seen of him suggests he's a neat little player but doesn't have the pace in his legs or head to make it count when almost every club has numerous midfielders who can pass it nicely and usually do a bit more too. I'm not sure still being a promising youngster waiting for a chance at 24 is much good for anyone to be honest.
Might be our best player in the Championship next year mind you.

He's been busy hanging the board out to dry.

He would have achieved more than Sánchez & Wilshere if he’d stayed with us. At a fraction of the cost
Imagine he will play tomorrow and be on his way to a Championship club by the end of the month.

He's in the match programme for the game against Charlton. I'm sure there will be lots of changes and I assume he will start so wasn't included in the last game.

Basically he's decent but not great. Mind you, he wouldn't have been any worse than Noble the other night. Quite hard for him to get on the bench with the likes of Lanzini, Anderson and Yarmolenko on there.

He's not as good value as Carlos Sanchez or Jack Wilshere...

He’s 24 so it really is make or break for him at this point.
I get the feeling he’ll get sold on deadline day to a lowly Championship club though.

Hope he does well and gets a chance for the big games in the PL.
Hardly like it’s a gamble with Noble creaking around.
Moyes might as well roll the dice.
