Great area. Normally fly into Seville and have a few days there first, I prefer the other side of Cadiz. Like sancti petri,chiclana. Conil is a cracking place. An area with lots of tapas bars.
Lots of little fishing villages along the coast that are worth a visit

Yep 3 years ago, Stayed in Chipiona.
Low on British tourists - All very Spanish rather than Spanglish.
Worth going to Cadiz
Worth going to Ronda
Gibraltar is doable - i couldn't be arsed to go round Next
Plenty of seafood is that is you thing
Atlantic is pretty warm as its southerly
