Boleyn Ground - Boys turnstiles

Quick question for the older generation in here.
Can anyone remember the upper age limit for the children (or Boys) turnstiles in the early 1970's? I think it might have been under 15, but it could have been 14.
Admission prices to the North Bank in those days was 15p for children and 30p for adults.

My old man took me when I was five and lifted me over the turnstiles for years, was then passed down the front of the North Bank while the old man stood at the same barrier every game.

Whats all this talk of 12 and 13 year olds?
My ol man first took me as a 4 year old,by the age of 9 i was a veteran of the North Bank. 😁 And I'd been to all the away games in London before my 10th birthday.

I remember being given 50p pocket money by mum back in 1972. This would have paid for two buses each way, a programme and the entrance fee, which I think was 20p back in those days. If I had any money left over then I’d buy some sweets.
As things went up with inflation, I’d still get 50p from my mum, but I’d walk from Barking town centre to the ground, saving the bus fare and then walk from the ground to Barking, before catching a bus back towards Barkingside.

It went on height and facial hair. No one ever asked me my age it was too busy to turn back I was still going through there at 13

Always went in with my older brother who was 13yrs and under turnstiles with operators consent together paying nothing, sometimes just for 1, I rarely paid.

I remember queueing at about 11am at the NB for Sat 3pm KO. I know it was after decimalisation 1971 as my 1st game was 1973. How much? I'm pretty sure it was 15p, and a bag of chips on the way home was 5p, under what age I'm less certain but I was 11 yrs and I remember I just qualified, so at a guess I think it was under 12's?

Got to be pedantic here, it was 13 YO.
I remember simply because as a 13 YO, independently, I travelled to my first game at the Boleyn. West Ham vs Boro, 2nd November '74.
Paid 6p for my program and 20p to stand on the North Bank.
When I became 14 (east end age of adulthood) it went up to 50p!

I remember it as 12, though I usually went in with my brother for his price and a bit more.

I remember the half-a-crown turnstiles.
Me and the girlfriend of the time* would squeeze together and get in for 4 bob. Nice little earner for us all.

I think it was 12 too.
I was always in awe of the number of 11 year olds with full moustaches..........

My old man should have paid 2 n 6 (or a tanner) to get me in at my first game. He lifted me over the turnstile and got me in for nothing. This continued for a couple of years til i could walk through the boys turnstile and meet him on the North Bank.
