So no answer Boyo? The joys of being a thick pointless cretin I guess. Still, at least you can get back to shoving Wotsits up your hooter and telling mummy what a clever boy you've been.

What exactly is the correlation of scat and being miserable, you odd, prepubescent spaz?

Re: Let’s give David Moyes some credit
Have to say though by not giving Moyes the job after his first stint was probably in many ways a good thing as he came in the second time with more than a point to prove.

Certainly has made some massive improvements and although he has made mistakes, as everyone does, thankfully he seems to learn from them.

Said before I think he looks as happy in a job as he has since his Everton days.

If we lift the FA cup or finish in the top 5 he can have a statue built as far as I'm concerned

_______

He can have a statue and shit on my face if he musters that this season.

Re: Let’s give David Moyes some credit
I agree, we are really working and taking nothing for granted against anyone. We are having a go at the cup and the morale in the team is clearly very high. Antonio was fucking fuming when he missed his 4th clear chance, that shows the passion and 'caring' attitude that has been missing. Not that I'm knocking him, he will get a comfortable hattrick on another day.

Unlike has been mentioned I think his subs this season have often changed the game positively, even last night we would have been happy if their flukey 97th min goal hadn't gone in.

And the hallmark of a good manager is his spotting and settling of new signings and making all the players better as players and shipping out those that do not buy into it. And there's no argument there he's done all that.

The bloke has proved us all wrong and good luck to him. He now deserves our full support and hopefully a deserved new contract in the summer for him and his team

Anon,

Yep, spot on. This side is works its socks off when it doesn't have the ball. Those clips the BBC picked up on last night, with so many midfield players tracking back quickly, are not unusual. We've not seen that at West Ham for many years.

Hope we keep this up.

This is the first time in 30 odd years I can remember West Ham consistently putting effort into any game, whether it's Tottenham or Doncaster. You have to credit the manager for that

Re: Let’s give David Moyes some credit
We need to give him HUGE credit.

Let's be honest, Moyes has proved so many of us either wrong or too sceptical this season. And I'm loving it.

But, as a group of fans, we were right to be sceptical about his re-appointment - because we have been spoon-fed regimes of warm diarrhoea for decades. We had come to expect incompetence and failure, even when he always hoped for something different.

What I like about the way Moyes (and his coaching team) is going about his business, is his determination to stay a little grounded in the realities of us being West Ham. Some might say his comments after yesterday's game were negative, considering our league position. But I think he's doing a very good job of managing expectations and a situation we are not used to (and neither are the players). He's taking pressure off us, even after six wins in a row.

Using every bit of his vast experience, and in positive ways. And that's the key reversal of his previous form with us and with the likes of Sunderland. Rather than let his experience weigh down his thinking so that it becomes automated and clunky ("this sort of worked since 2001, so we'll go with that"), he's using his nous and collective experience to change the side and the club for the better.

Let's be honest, he's benefited hugely from having some very good players on his plate: Rice, Antonio, Fabianski, Ogbonna etc. But he's also chosen wisely - Soucek, Coufal, Dawson etc. He's giving us something to build from.

Doing a very fine job at the moment. Proving everybody wrong. Nothing for us, or him, to be uncomfortable about. Let's just get behind him and the team and enjoy it while it lasts (it probably won't be long: we are West Ham, after all!).

I'm of that same persuasion.
I'll admit I've never liked him but glad to be proven wrong.
He has the team enjoying playing and winning.
Moyes needs to keep things much the same apart from his substitiuons which were very poor again.
I dont' know why at 3-1 up he brought on the 3 least likely players to keep the score the same or add another.
I know Fredericks has pace but he has nothing else to add, always out of position and can't score for toffee. Johnson used to be a winger and is better balanced with a better football brain. Yarmolenko for Antonio was wrong, he should of replaced Bowen. Noble should of not come on at all,Mipo would have added pace,Noble couldn't get near anyone or the ball.
That's the main area for Moyes to work on. Fine margins could cost all his excellent work.

I've not been enthusiastic about his return and I'm very happy to admit that I was wrong.
He is doing a great job, the team is performing well and above its face value.

Was never a fan.

Happy to eat humble pie now.
It's actually enjoyable watching us at the moment.
Think our bench is poor, but we have a very strong first eleven.

Long may it continue.
Well done David.

Re: Let’s give David Moyes some credit
I'll admit I was utterly wrong about Moyes; we look like a completely different team.
We are well drilled, skillful and always looking to attack. This is night and day compared to the dark days of BFS.
Whoever has done our scouting deserves a medal.

Let's hope he gets the money to really push us on.

Sullivan is an idiot, so he'll probably fuck it all up.
