They aren’t going to abolish away fans.

I THINK...
Pretty soon, we will be attending Home games only, and not Away games. Entry to Home games via smart phone, no swaps, etc. Away games available only online/tv via the arrangements now being put in place as discussed below.
So all these 'problems' for the proposed European Super League, of the time / cost etc of attending, would not BE a problem, because the away fans won't be going anyway. No need for segregation, because you will either be a Home fan, or a one off 'Neutral' attendee (yeah, yeah, I know...).
And before you bite me, sit and think it through from the clubs' perspective. How many fans would pay for the Away game if they couldn't attend, assuming there were no streams etc in the brave new world..?

I have a rather odd situation that I feel is driving me to look for a stream.
I want to see Madrid v Barcelona this afternoon, straight after the West Ham game.
I don’t pay movistar for La Liga coverage and no other network has the game. Movistar do not offer the game as a one off pay-to-view, you need to sign up to an expensive package. I would pay a one of fee if it was less than 10 euros.
I usually go and watch the La Liga games in a bar, but all the bars have been closed in Catalonia due to the covid nonsense.
I could drive to Valencia to see the game in a bar, Valencia has less severe covid restrictions, but it would be tight time wise and anyway I like to have a beer or 2 watching West Ham.
I will try a few streams and if they’re crap forget about it!

This site is quite useful for showing what channels the games are on.
live-footballontv.com/west-ham-on-tv.html
Rather than dodgy streams I have been in the habit of actually spending hard cash during the Covid break from live football, using the argument that it is cheaper per match than a burger and chips for the boy at the LS. Quality is way, way better.
I don’t have Sky or BT (we do have Amazon prime) but Sky games are available on a match my match basis from Now TV. Sometimes a week pass gets you more than one game and is better value than the 9.99 day pass. BT don't do a match/day pass, but I am currently paying a monthly fee which i will cancel after the City game (no more BT sport matches for a while) which gave me two games for 12 quid each.

I think they are scoring a massive o.g with this £14.95 ppv driving more and more people into streams and alternatives like that one. If they continued with having the games outside their contracted ones as free they might give people who aren’t subscribers a taste and make them more likely to sign up when fans are back.
Alternatively they are testing the water on ppv on individual games to see whether they can make more money with a different structure of charging. Maybe offering a season ticket for one teams games as an alternative to having all their coverage

DAZN in Spain is showing all the games. Not sure if you can sign up for DAZN Spain from the UK, I guess not? But it does work in the UK. Pre-covid when I went to visit my Dad I took my firestick with the DAZN installed and watched the games in the UK on trouble. DAZN costs 10 euros a month.

Yes, forgot about that Currently 4 games at 3pm so expect 3 of them will move to 8pm Sat & Sun at 12 & 7.15 All on ppv
Reckon Sky & BT will be looking at how this games at 4 separate times on each of Sat & Sun goes .... and look to make it the norm when fans are back & into the new tv deal And fans trying to get back from a Sunday night game in Newcastle will be told to fuck themselves

Fulham game still likely to be moved unless it's THE 3pm Sat game.
