Looks like Michy is injured, so here we go:

Bowen gives too much down the wing for us to stick him up front. Arm-and-a-Lenko could go upfront, although I think Haller is a better option.

If he is Benrahma has to start, no pace in that front three, we won't be able to get out and their back line will practically be in our area.

but really it was just chance to reference the fact that the EFL Cup is now the Papa Johns Cup.
(I thought Papa Johns was "problematic" at least in the States)

Maybe the best formation for Haller would be to play him in a diamond.

It’s very narrow but allows for masuaku / cresswell and coufal to ping crosses in.
This also keeps our defence the same so doesn’t change all the work we’ve been doing.
The only downside is that it allows there full backs a lot more freedom as we wouldn’t have the players there to cover. Which could be very problematic against Liverpool.

The Trophy is u21 but play against regular lower league teams hence Southend
and league is u23 with 3 overagers
I believe, I looked it up because a Canadian kid is playing with the Wolves u23s and another with Liverpool's
But could have forgot.

Calm yourself you queen. Played almost every game for the last two years and has been called up for England. Big deal. So has fucking Cresswell. Don't see too many queuing up to nosh him off.
Yeah Rice is decent for his age. But in premier League terms he was, up until recently, a fairly average CM (with potential). Now we have Soucek doing the things Rice can't he looks a better player. I'd argue that Antonio and Soucek are much more important to the side these days than Rice. His age doesn't make him a better player, it gives him the potential to be a better player and that's all.

He's the kid that scored the hatrick in EFL Cup including our goal of the month (well I think it was a hatrick)

Losing our only forward that can lead the line is a massive blow (thx Sullivan)
There really is no solution without changing the system. He either pops Haller in for Antonio or switches back to 4-4-2. But we know that will expose the likes of Cresswell. Moyes is not the kind of manager to be innovative is he? So he goes back to a formation and system that didn’t work for the players w e have or he lets Haller toil alone again which has shown no evidence of working.
But like others say it would at least be something if Haller tried. Against City he looked well off the pace, weak and uninterested as if he was sulking about always being on the bench or something. National stereotypes identify the French as entitled, sulky types who don’t offer much fight. He is living up to that or has up to this point.
