What's your favourite Bond film?
|
Loads were on telly recently and I've downloaded loads of em. Not seen most of them.
Goldeneye is the best Brosnan one by a country mile, all the rest are shit. The Daniel Craig ones are really good though.
Personally would say Dr. No. Got everything in it.
You lot?
(This is related to West Ham cos of the bond scheme and cos of John Bond and Billy Bonds.)

I'd say From Russia With Love. Best baddie the crazy Russian woman with the knife in the shoe. However, I enjoy the Brosnan ones (not Die Another Day of course) as they were the first I saw at the cinema. Love the opening of Goldeneye and the way it tapped into the start of bungy jumping as a craze. Still feel giddy when they do the panning shot up the damn.

I watched The Spy Who Loved Me in the Cinema with my parents when I was a young kid. When Jaws bit the shark I had a fit of hysterics and everyone turned round and I shouted out "He bit the shark" and everyone burst out laughing. However, my favourite is The Man with the Golden Gun.

The Spy Who Loved Me/Live and Let Die
I know Sean Connery is the God, but I grew up with Roger Moore. Loved his charm, wit and quintessential Englishness.

I loved that one. Roger Moore was my growing up Bond but my first cinema experience was a double bill of Thunderball and You only live twice in the Odeon Sydenham. My first film was Jason and the Argonauts which was a pretty good place to start. You only live twice edges it as my favourite but Live and let die pushes it close.

I’m with JLAP on this one.
The Spy Who Loved Me is the complete package. The title just sums up Bond as a whole (before and after this film). And the theme song by Carly Simon, what more can I say!
So I reckon its me favourite somehow.

Watched that the other day for the first time (when i made this thread) and it was decent. Aficionados seem to talk down the Dalton films or at least not mention them

I know you're joking, but guess what - next 007 is going to be a black woman:

I predict this woke bollocks will be about as popular as the female Ghostbusters.
Anyway some of my favourites:
Goldfinger From Russia With Love Live and Let Die Casino Royale
I'm also partial to Her Majesty's Secret Service. The late Dianna Rigg was the best Bond girl in terms of performance by a country mile.
