Bitcoin went past $23,000 today.

BTC halving around April next year and blackrock ETF on the way (whether that’s ultimately a good thing is another story). Probably a good idea to start averaging in if you haven’t already.
Best performing asset since it’s inception , way safer than the thousands of shitcoins

There's a possibility that might happen. No guarantee there will ever be another bull run but it's quite likely that BTC will be worth considerably more than it is now. I wouldn't go chucking all my eggs into that basket, but you'd be mad not to consider allocating a portion of your funds into crypto at today's prices imo.

Re: Bitcoin
Sometime during the next year, Bitcoin will be worth north of $125k

Huge financial institutions applying for spot ETFs and other developments will drive it.

The rises up until now have been private investors, the institutions will drive the next rise.

Re: Bitcoin
Yup stick it in a 5 or 10 year bond.
Much less risk.

Otherwise I’ve got some magic beans I’m willing to sell you.

I'd say that if you don't get it inside out, don't go anywhere near it. Savings rates are up, so be sensible.

Re: Bitcoin
They've banned a company owned by Binance operating in the uk. Binance currently doesn't operate in the uk at all. The 'ban' is of no consequence. The FCA are probably trying to make up for the indiscretions around the OneCoin scam where they basically got a load of people scammed by giving an obvious scam firm the green light. The twats.

Remember I said a few months back on here that the British government might be the first one in the west retarded (or devious) enough to try and ban cryptocurrencies?

Well looks like it's beginning:

This drop was nothing to do with China or Elon or any of the other crap that goes around.

It was overbought pure and simple. Needed to come back to earth for a while. Too many leveraged longs in a market and someones gonna come along and pull the rug from underneath you.

Re: Bitcoin
Interesting article Camel. That’s a lot of liquidations. Been some analysts kicking Crypto over the past few days (JPM in particular) and some suggestion if rotating into Gold as being a better trade.
With markets like Crypto and the big moves presumably stops don’t work. The leverage multiples are pretty eye catching but I guess with big short term movements that can be good money for quick plays. It did make me wonder if the strategy of using the margin liquidation as the bottom barrier and the unlimited upside might be a game some might be playing.
