How dogs love us...
... some dogs do love (well, at least like) their owners, others appear to like humanity, or even humanity/computers, rather than specifically their owner.

(Didn't know that only 35% of assistant dogs - guide dogs, and the like - entered into training are accepted)

Got a mad 16 month old boy Border Terrier, leggiest BT I’ve seen. Walked him today for a change on Wandsworth Common and some toff joker asked if he was half-Doberman as he’s a lump of a BT.
Met a 4 month Soft-Coated Wheaten on his walk. Great pup, next/additional dog will be a SCWT if we can ever find one.

Thank you. I shall have a butchers - any websites you know give advice on doses etc?

He's been okay about the balls thing. I had no idea they left the sack on though, which was a nasty shock on pickup.

The prices for dogs have gone through the roof and sadly that has meant that nicking a dog is an easier way to make a few grand than robbing a bookies. Probably doesn’t even carry any time even if you do punch the old geezer in the process.

Lowest of the low.

Seen loads of signs for missing dogs round my way and have heard of a few being nicked.

If someone took my dog I would want to cut them in half with a chainsaw set on slow.

Re: How dogs love us...
He's not on metacam, been on onsior a year or so and we stopped it for a few weeks when he started his pissing lark to see if it made a difference. That was my first instinct but alas no luck. Like I say, vets found sound all bar a lump on his balls which 'could' have been cancerous. Had a big disagreement with the missus but gave in and they chopped those off aged 12 - I never understood that they now apparently leave the sack - he looks like he has a deflated balloon hanging from his arse. Didn't make a difference to the pissing and drinking.

Its odd - the only other thing he has shown mentally as a change is some reversal to his puppy days (i.e. he had a real taste for his own shit, and his has started again - yep, nice).

Do you mean CBD oil NS? i.e pot?

Re: How dogs love us...
A few years back we had a spate of dog thefts around our way, an organised group stealing them for dog fighting, utter cunts.

Ours is sadly on his way out. 12 year old lab and his joints are going. Has managed to develop some sort of issue whereby he drinks obsessively and pisses for a ridiculously long time. Vets can find anything physically wrong with him.

Your dog on metacam?? Ours (12 year old lab)was on it for years... in the end was not even touching our dogs arthritis also like yours was pissing loads loads more... app' metacam can damage the dogs liver and kidneys... last resort I tried CBP oil... woman I bumped into a year or so ago with a couple of old labs uses it and they looked fantastic... first gave it to him about 6 months ago he went from barely walking around the block to within 5 days impersonating a husky sled dog... I can get him out now for 4 miles walks and he's still not done... he's back now to what he was like at age 7 or 8.

I've got a 15 month old Bedlington Terrier, had him since he was 8 weeks old. looks soft like a lamb but loves to get in the mix with other dogs. I don't know if we'd had coped with lockdown without him. the little fucker

Leroys Boots

A close friend of mine who is a keen falconer hunts his peregrine Falcon hybrid over his female GSP.

The falcon hunts mainly snipe thanks to the dog which points And flushes for him.

It’s very impressive and the dog is impressive also.

My wirehaired vizsla is coming up to 6 months. Has his mad moments but surprisingly chilled at times and calming down by the day.

Would say he’s about as crazy now as our boxer was at 10 years old!
