Last night's U23 match
Could hardly believe my own minces

Helping out at Rush Green and trying to find a captain's armband for Conor Coventry and there's some sort of argument.

Winston REID is insisting he should be captain. We have a foreign manager arguing with him, he doesn't know who he is and thinks he's a new signing bedding in with the reserves before getting a chance on the first team bench.

I forgot Reid. Was even part of the club at all, and was surprised to see him there. His wages are a big waste of money. I know he got a ridiculously long contract but there can't be long left on it now?

Gank, are a few spectators allowed?
From what you say Reid still has some drive to do well and get back, but also sounds a bit of a prick, pulling the Seniority card.
Not sure why these cunts are slagging you. At times WHO is just stupidly sad.

Did I say you were playing ?
But never theless you could have given a match report from fellow watches. Instead you want to glorify in your own ego about clearing up Gatorade bottles or whatever duties you specialise in.

Re: Last night's U23 match
I wasn't playing, you spastic. I sign off the Covid Risk Mitigation Plan which usually involves actually rushing about doing the stuff the document says you would have done before I got there. I'm a helpful bloke too, so I don't mind doing bits and pieces for the team as well, that are nothing to do with my job. I only do it for West Ham, despite the many opportunities at sports clubs all over.

Good money, though. Sadly it has to be declared.

But you weren't really there were, no bloody good to us.....I've seen the highlights and couldn't spot you.

Re: Last night's U23 match
Reid only played the first half. Don't know if that's all he lasted or if there was some other reason for taking him off. Can't imagine it would be to save him for tomorrow's game.

Did Reid last the entire match? He seems to be made of glass these days.

EXILE
With you there.
With all this talk of Mipo and another watch of Afoylan and Baptiste there to watch Gank doean't watch the game very strange.
There couldn't of been that many cup of teas to make surely.... :)

Re: Last night's U23 match
From what I've seen of Mipo on YouTube, he looks the part of a 'proper' centre forward. I think he should keep training with the first team and get some opportunities off the bench as soon as possible, because we all know it's just a matter of time Antonio misses some games.
Ditto the other striker Afoyalan who I think is a couple of years older than Mipo. He doesn't quite impress me as much, but he ought to be given chances in the first team as well,to see how he shapes up.
Moyes must know if either is capable of making it.

Re: Last night's U23 match
So Mr "What's this got to do with West Ham?" was not watching a match at which he was present. A match involving..... West Ham.

I'm ashamed to say, I didn't watch much of the match so I can't really appraise anyone.

Re: Last night's U23 match
Our ‘foreign manager’ of the u23’s has been at the club for a couple of years. Before that he was at Leicester , 5 years at Norwich & 11 years at Colchester
I find it hard to believe Winston Reid has turned up for a game without him knowing he is let alone having a discussion with Moyes as to how he was to be used.

His contract goes until 2023.

I say extend it for giving the Boleyn Ground the send off it deserved.
