The Messi situation at Barcelona
If you were the President or Manager at Barca, would you just fuck him off?

Clearly Messi feels he's bigger than the club, it's not often players come along with the ability that Messi has, but would you bend over backwards like Barca are to keep him?

At his age now, and the cost to keep him I'd be inclined to fuck him off.

You cunts?

Xavi was obviously brilliant but to argue Messi only looked good because of him is a bit dim really. Just smacks of someone trying to be controversial.

Think you've got me mixed up with someone else, Miike, because I don't remember having any kind of conversation with you for years. Mind you, you're such a boring, moany old cunt these days that I probably would've forgotten it immediately anyway.

Well, he doesn't - GK son.

Barcelona took him in from Argentina at a very young age, yes he has gone onto be one of the worlds best players but no player is bigger than a club.

Re: The MESSI situation at Barcelona
He has a right to feel he's bigger than the club.

Albeit I do agree they should sell now.

Looks like Takashi Miike is trying to be break into WHO's top 3 of people who know fuck all about football. He's definitely up there, it has to be said.

Out of interest, I looked this up and, since Iniesta left, Messi’s record is this:

Matches: 85
Goals: 73
Assists: 36

I’m keen to know who is carrying Messi in that team now...Vidal? Rakitic? Busquets?

Didn’t Xavi leave Barcelona a few years ago now?

*looks up Messi’s scoring record*

Yes, he’s clearly nothing without him.

Mike Takashi

"he hasn't won anything outside of the spanish pub league since xavi retired. he won nothing without xavi or iniesta playing for argentina. as I've said, xavi & insists won three major international tournaments for spain without him. you mentioned the word useless, not me"

lol, you talk about it like its a game of tennis
Its a bloody team sport ffs!

you failed to mention the Spanish team had David Villa, Silva, Diego Costa, Alonso etc...

Being a great footballer doesnt mean you do it on your own. Not Maradona, not pele, not anyone.

Also, remember he is winning league titles in a league with Real Madrid who have won the CL 10 times and Atletico Madrid. Its really not a pub league.
Even their mid-tier teams like Sevilla do better than the equivalent PL teams in Europa League.

Re: Hovel in Hackney, E9 5QP
Hermit, basically Messi has such a huge influence on the club, and he didn't like the direction in which the club was going so tried to force a move last year away from the club, they came to a resolution (meaning a payrise) which still hasn't resolved the fact Messi doesn't like the way the club is being run basically.
