If you were the President or Manager at Barca, would you just fuck him off?
Clearly Messi feels he's bigger than the club, it's not often players come along with the ability that Messi has, but would you bend over backwards like Barca are to keep him?
At his age now, and the cost to keep him I'd be inclined to fuck him off.

Well, he doesn't - GK son.
Barcelona took him in from Argentina at a very young age, yes he has gone onto be one of the worlds best players but no player is bigger than a club.

Being a great footballer doesnt mean you do it on your own. Not Maradona, not pele, not anyone.
Also, remember he is winning league titles in a league with Real Madrid who have won the CL 10 times and Atletico Madrid. Its really not a pub league.
Even their mid-tier teams like Sevilla do better than the equivalent PL teams in Europa League.

Hermit, basically Messi has such a huge influence on the club, and he didn't like the direction in which the club was going so tried to force a move last year away from the club, they came to a resolution (meaning a payrise) which still hasn't resolved the fact Messi doesn't like the way the club is being run basically.
