6ns 2021
|
It's gone under the radar with Covid, interrupted prep and the prospect of empty stadiums.
Let's face it, England are miles ahead of all it's nearby neighbours and worthy favourites. You never know with the French, hopefully we can see some flair.
Speaking of under the radar, I just read about the death of John Pullin. A great player and captain. RIP.

Brian Lima was the King of tackles - Ouch! I wasn't bad back when I played. I never wieghed much despite being 6'3" (just over 13st) but was fast (school 200m champ) and force=mass*acceleration. The satisfaction of timing a tackle perfectly especially when chasing an up and under is something I won't forget.

Now that man could tackle !
I remember a lions midweek game with him and O’Driscoll as centres. Imagine facing that partnership !

Not a massive fan of Rugby but do these results mean much when it comes to the World Cup?
It feels like Wales & Ireland often have periods where they look really strong during the 6ns and Autumn Internationals but when it comes down to the biggest competition of the World Cup they always flatter to deceive.

Will Alun Wyn Jones cement his place as the greatest Welsh player of all time in the professional game?

Not really got into it this year but surely Jones has to get the chop. -9 points difference, three defeats and only Italy below in the table, he is taking England backwards!
