eBay ( selling) payment question
Recently had notification of a change of payment policy.
eBay not using PayPal from March, payment now goes to your bank account.
Normally once the buyer pays it shows instantly on your PayPal account. I sold something yesterday, showed as buyer paid but now have no way of seeing the fees ( not showing on bank account yet).
This will make me want to hold back posting goods until I see the paid funds.
Not ideal. Is this right or am I missing something?

Re: eBay ( selling) payment question
Thanks all. Does make sense, just that reservation and comfort of seeing the payment and now having to wait.
As you've said though, covered by eBay, all good.

As soon as eBay tell you they've been paid you're protected. It'll take a few days for you to get wedged though, and they deduct their fees first (obviously)

If you go to payment options in the app, it will be in there

Once it says paid it’s alright to post it. It takes a day or so to show in your eBay account, (will show as processing)
They will send it to your bank account a day or so later

Re: eBay ( selling) payment question
I had an instance recently where the seller had to accept payment.

Worth checking to see if you have to accept it?

Last week it was the divan bed post that had me scratching my head.
