Re: 1972
Jan-fell over on an ice rink of a tennis court and broke my wrist
Feb-came off my push bike and got a severely grazed face
March- sold an old Ariel Square Four for £50 after I'd got it going (*slits wrists*)
April-got rat-arsed for the first time
May - left school
June- got a job as a clerk at the AA £10.10 a week
July - I was deflowered in a field in Buckinghamshire by a very comely buxom blonde
August - first flight to Spain (Lloret de Mar) where more deflowering took place
September-went to Buxton Festival so got stoned for the first time-I seem to remember that Slade were very good (yes, really)
October-Saw Genesis (with Lindisfarne support)at Oxford with my patchouli scented
Bucks gal and renewed our acquaintance
November-Saw Queen at a small club in London with a recently met nurse (I'd never heard of them but she knew John Deacon)*zoltaneering points accepted*
December -Christmas Eve I saw David Bowie at the Rainbow,Finsbury Park -aforesaid nurse got the tickets and I had to hitchhike home from Richmond (the furthest west I could get on the tube!!) so I was home at about 5am Christmas Day...my afghan coat was soaked and I smelt like a wet dog-Happy happy days!!
December-

Re: 1972
Also in 1972

a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit.

These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.

Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune.

If you have a problem, If no one else can help and if you can find them.....
