The optimism or the lack coverage in the MSM?

My bauble is still stuck in the post :(

There is a very good reason for that

(And it's a shame that the game wasn't even on the vidiprinter, let alone covered in any depth in the MSM)

Not just on here Mattie, after Saturday's result and especially the performance, accounts of unbridled optimism filling not just the town but the wider Cowdenbeath daspora.

Reminiscent of the carnival like atmosphere before a ball was actually kicked this season.

If Cowdenbeath fancy a friendly against a mixed team of 30-70 year olds to boost their confidence, let me know.

Can't GUARANTEE we'd lose to them, though.

Re: The official Cowdenbeath 2021-22 season thread
I think with the sleet (the twelfth man), the fact that there's now sleet plus a week's break can only work to th COO's advantage.

Rest of Scottish football will be sat indoors taking it easy, whilst the COO will be out and about in it (the sleet), taking it in osmosis style and regenerating in time for the business and of the season.

In a way it's an unfair advantage.

I haven't had any updates since a text to tell m that the bauble was in a sorting office in Doncaster.

That was 4 days ago though, a stagecoach could have got it to me in that time.

I'm getting concerned.

This could derail the season.

You can't expect a bauble to arrive in November.

Come on.

Get it together.

Not just that, but my bauble has still yet to arrive.

It’s a conspiracy of ill fates where things can only get better.

3 points in the next game and on and upwards.

O Fickle Fate.

The first SLEET of the winter is forecast for Scotland this weekend, yet Cowdenbeath are on a break.

Surely their luck has to change at some point?

Forfar Athletic 3-0 Cowdenbeath

Three late goals saw second placed Forfar Athletic extend the gap between them and Stirling Albion in third.

The deadlock was broken in the 77th minute with Andy Munro heading in from a corner before Grant Anderson headed in a second from a Ross Meechan cross five minutes from time.

Matthew Aitken made it 3-0 in injury time to ensure Cowdenbeath's poor run of form continued.

TEAM : Gill, Mullen, Swann, O'Connor, C Barr, Todd, Hutton, Miller (Morrison), Coulson (Thomson), L Buchanan (B Barr), R Buchanan

SUBS NOT USED : Mahady, Clarke, McGurn, Watson

NEXT UP : We welcome Stirling Albion to Central Park on Saturday 4th December.
