Woke watch
There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at

I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration.

Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist.

Is that moon-faced Marianna Springboard?

Did you know she lied on her cv to get her job?

By the way, if you mention this to her on twitter, she blocks you, as does Mike Wendling (her boss)

So I've heard.

I see the Australian Army has caught a dose of Woke from its British counterparts? You couldn't make this shit up, FFS

Military dog handlers will be retrained to limit “cultural sensitivity risks” when confronting enemy fighters or terrorists, in a woke extension of the ADF’s Special Forces overhaul.

The BBC are a fucking joke (waves at comma).

Their "disinformation specialist" has just done a piece on professional victim Eni Aluko about how anyone who disagrees with her is a troll.

The BBC has a big guilt complex over the whole slave trade issue; I recall that they had, back in the day, an entertainment show called "World Wide Family Slave Bits", where well off families were invited to write in to the program and announce that they had one or more slaves for sale somewhere on the planet and a Dutch slave auction would ensue over the following weeks for their purchase.

Re: Woke watch
The BBC have come up with an article whereby exactly the same details were submitted for car insurance, Mome from predominantly white areas and some from areas of high ethnic diversity and lots of black people. The ones from high ethnic diversity had a much higher premium. The article was heavily implying racism as the cause, although they said they didn't know how the programme worked. They of course did not mention the myriad of other things that effect premiums.

There are so many problematic issues that effect black people in this country that are always laid at the feet of racism which generally are nothing of the sort. Are the BBC and many other organisations on a crusade to make out that racism is endemic in this country?

It probably wasn't "a thing" in Britain - I'm in Cape Town.
It's Khoekhoe and San now, depending on which group you are talking about.

That's been considered offensive for years.

Although both the mountain range near Cape Town and a neighbouring school still use the name...

Did you know that the term "Hottentot" is now offensive?

Did any of you even know what it meant before?

Apparently the BBFC have re-classified the 1964 film Mary Poppins as PG (from a U) because the word is featured TWICE!!!

I was in a cafe a while back (poncy vegan job ofc) and there was a guardian columnist on the table next to me bemoaning the papers stance on trans things. She was saying that the staff were very uncomfortable with it but the boss was pro trans so they couldn’t do anything. I felt like saying to her well that’s what you get for working for such an ideology driven organisation.

If you’re a deviant bloke go full deviant

A writer for the Guardian has boycotted the newspaper for failing to tell its readers that a cat killer who murdered a stranger was transgender.

Scarlet Blake, a 26-year-old trans woman, was found guilty last week of murdering Jorge Martin Carreno in July 2021 on his way home from a night out, four months after Blake’s Netflix-inspired killing of a cat.

Louise Tickle, an award-winning journalist who has written for the Guardian for more than 20 years, has accused the newspaper of “deceiving its readers” for using the word “woman” in its headline and omitting the fact Blake was transgender in an article covering the case.
