WHO Poll
Q: 2021/22 What competition should we prioritise this season?
a. The league is our bread & butter, so this year let's have a club sandwich
b. We're owed an FA Cup after Gerrard nicked our last one in 06, our name's on it in 22
c. A bye to the League Cup 3rd round gives us a good start, let's make it count
d. The Europa is our best ticket to the Champions League, this is the one
e. What's wrong with you, let's do the lot, has the quadruple ever been done

Geo & Gonzo
All summer the pair have been handing out sly digs at Moyes. (Particularly Gonzo.) So the question is. Are they stooges for GSB. Or the fans best interest at heart.?

Re: Geo & Gonzo
I'd say Geo has no agenda, he'll want the club to do as well as any of us and that means getting backup for Antonio as a priority.

Not sure what good it does constantly digging out our owners, they'll just do what they want anyway.

Lack of funds not helped by dropping so much on Anderson (and previously Haller), and maybe Moyes insisting none of our best players are sold means no income from big sales.

The timing of Moyes contract renewal was significant. If it's done before last season ends he gives GSB a list of players to get then fcks off to the Euros leaving them to make a start on his list. But no, we wait till the Euros are over, and then those involved then go on holiday too. Typical WH shambles really.

Anyway, no, Geo I would say is just as frustrated as any of us, but that's West Ham for you.

Hope you cnts are all well.

Tear up? I guarantee that if you'd come over and introduced yourself we'd have ended up having a beer together and the sniping would have stopped on here.

I've met plenty of posters on here and I actually have really liked them. Some I would consider good pals.

One poster, YogiB even privately even WHOmailed me and asked if he could get me anything as he was always driving through Camden, where I live.

If that's not a top boy I don't know who is and I was very grateful.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
So you can remember years ago, but not a week ago? Right.

Yeah you did, because you're proper double hard, and you fully expected someone to go and find a seat at West Ham, introduce themselves as Eerie Descent, ask if they are chim chim cha boo, and have a tear up over a load of nothing that was said over the internet.

That would be a bit silly, wouldn't it.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
Remind me Eerie because I really can't remember. That's the impression it made on me.

Didn't I once give you my seat number and ask you to pay me a visit when you admitted that you couldn't fight your way out of a paper bag?

In all fairness Chim, calling out anyone and everyone for what you deem as going too far didn't exactly go down to well for you the other week...

Vexed? Mr Angry?!

Mr Cowardly more like.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
The reason this thread got my goat is that Geo is Aberdeen Iron's boy, a poster who must have been around for at least 15 years and is a lovely bloke. His son Geo is a credit to the bloke and I hate the drip, drip, drip when someone puts their head above the parapet about the club we all love.

I might come across as Mr angry but I wouldn't want to take that mantle away from Vexed who does a fine job.

I'm more 'enthusiastic' than angry.

Mate, a handful of people on here properly looked out for me a couple of years back when I really needed it. It’s why this is the only place online where I still really post. Many cunts, but many good eggs also.

As you were!

Re: Geo & Gonzo
On the other side of the coin people on here were generally really nice when I got Covid and taught me some things about it that never seems to get mentioned and I found talking to my peers really comforting.

I'm ploughing into Mr Inbetween on my phone at the gym as I try and get my fitness back and I would be totally unaware of the show if it wasn't for this site. Certain films too.

I've chipped in when posters have been in the shit and given sincere condolences when we've lost one of our own.

Doesn't mean that you're not all cunts though.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
Fair enough mate, can’t argue with that. I just can’t afford to get worked up about what people post online. If I did, I think it would send me over the edge.

You’re right though in that too many people hide behind their keyboard, but the genie is out of the bottle now.

It’s why I never, ever look at Twitter.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
I love this site WP. In fact it's the only site I post on.

You have to admit though, there are some proper cunts on it. I also have a personal policy of calling people out when they say things to me on here that they'd never dare in real life.

If more people did that there might not be so much anonymous racism and shit on the internet that everyone gets their knickers in a twist about.

I like reminding people that the internet is still real life.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
chim, you always come across as very bitter towards this site and massively over-sensitive to anything anyone ever says on here. Life’s too short mate, if WHO eats you up that much, maybe just take a break? It’s not worth it.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
I think they're great, particularly Geo who always asks hard questions of the people he interviews.

Let's face it, anyone who ever does ANYTHING West Ham related (and even NOT West Ham related) seems to wind some of you no-life cunts up.

And long may they continue.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
Geo didn't just pitch up when Hammers Chat started. Those who do the miles know who else does. That's why people like the OP show themselves up. I very rarely watch these youtube channels but plenty do so they have their place. And to echo what a few others have said, I'm not impressed with our transfer business this window either, leaving everything last minute. I'll be travelling up to Newcastle watching a squad that is overall weaker than last season. It's no way to build on last season and it's certainly no way to prepare for a long season ahead. What is Moyes role in that? It's a question that is more than fair to be asked.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
I like their channel, some good stuff.
Certainly during lockdown.
Have never got the impression they don't like Moyes, maybe the odd swipe at the board.

Lily Hammer 5:39 Tue Aug 10
Re: Geo & Gonzo
I’ve not seen much of their channel over the summer, but watched quite often during the lockdown before summer. It seemed clear to me that they held Moyes in high esteem. If they didn’t at first, he had certainly won them over, so I can’t believe they have any agenda to snipe at him.

It also seemed clear that they were sympathetic with Hammers United’s cause and certainly sniped at GSB quite regularly.

Re: Geo & Gonzo
I've not seen many of their videos, but if they're criticising Moyes for taking over 12 months to sign a fucking striker, then they have my support.

Agreed. Very harsh. Nice guys, Geo is the son of Aberdeen iron so have some respect.
They have no agenda except to make content that west ham fans want to watch.
Gonzo gets lost in his own jokes sometimes but sensible views usually and good to pass the time with.
I still prefer WHFTV over Hammers Chat but I'll take anyone over that massive tool dave walker and exwhu

Re: Geo & Gonzo
Anyone over the age of 40 who doesn't know the 1980 starting line up is about as West Ham as Terry Hurlock. You know who you are.
