Idiotic football terminology
- Give and go, pretentious and cuntish, when did they stop saying one - two.

- The Park instead of pitch - So where are the swings and slide etc.

- Not enough in that - Usually said when Man Utd or Liverpool give away an otherwise blatant penalty and it's not given by bent refs.

- He got a bit on the ball - after an assault on another player Loris taking out Lanzini 2017 was a great example of this.

If you mean Mexican Wave, I agree.

Just because you see it in Mexico first, does not make it Mexican.

Re: Idiotic football terminology
Assists are such a mixed bunch - sometimes, the striker's left so little to do that the goal really belongs to the assister, sometimes the striker makes a goal out of a shit pass which gives him nothing.

Sometimes, an assist is a beautiflu piece of football in its own right, sometimes it just bounces off your arse without you knowing anything about it.

Could never understand why the “assist” bit became so important when all the ‘stats’ started.
Assist = set him up.

'Ball around the corner'

'he's done him with the eyes'

'he's done ever so well there'

... and the one that makes my piss boil...

'he's hit that one perfectly and it's just gone wide'.
