Best Concert

Been to a few in my time,
Michael Jackson at Wembley stadium was good. Pearl Jam at the Irvine Ampitheatre was a great show.
Saw Paul Weller at the House of Blues in L A, enjoyed that.
Simple minds at Wembley Arena had the place rocking.
Best I’ve been to though was Springsteen at Wembley stadium on his Born in the USA tour. Best of who I’ve seen.

Far too many to list, but in the last five years it was Bowling For Soup at Brixton Academy. I spent the whole show on stage being delivered vodka. Great stuff.

Lou Reed, Coogee Bay hotel in Sydney, he had done his big gig for the night at the enertainmant Center, but for whatever reason an unadvertised midnight gig at a Pub by the beach.
Mate called me about 10pm and said get yourself down here, i did and with only about 150 others saw the great man at his best.
Still came across as a moody cunt though! As much as i love his music..........

New Jersey. No, it doesn’t. Also, I was right near the front, as I’ve known Paul for many years, since he was living in Colchester and got a couple of comps.

Been to a few over the years. I couldn’t pick the best, as they were so different, but… Bruce Springsteen in Leeds 1980s Pink Floyd, the Wall tour around 80 Simon & Garfunkel, Central Park, NY. Richard Thompson, in Edinburgh. Edith Piaf, Palladium 1950s. I didn’t want to go, but my Dad had a spare ticket and she blew my mind. What a voice. Buddy Holly, East Ham Granada 1957/8 Worst I ever saw, was the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, in Oslo. All out of their brains and absolutely appalling. I at least I didn’t buy the tickets.
