Bit early to write him off I think. Hardly played any minutes and hardly any of the few minutes have been central.
Saying that there hasn't been much he's done in his fleeting appearances that spring to mind as being good.

I think he would be better suited to Ajax alongside Haller...I'm not sure how he fits in here unless he is a traditional fixed 10 with everyone else rotating around him to pick out a pass...but nobody can afford to be static anymore.
A disappointment so far...to say the very least

Vlasic is not suited to west ham. he has no idea how to run in behind and seems to hide a lot to me.

No davy - I am emotional but if I know a player / person is in serious trouble I would put my emotions to one side for the immediate and make sure they are okay.

Pwoper Bit of a cynical twatty comment tbh. Vlasic is more of a emotional person than you I guess. Cresswell also had his head in hands, not quite crying but upset for sure.Vlasic was the player involved. You could blame our players really for consoling him .Should have told told him to man up and kick the next player who comes near him next time too.

''I’ve been told Moyes has run out of patience with him and is open to offers''
The fact that you are not bored yourself yet really says a lot about you, and really not in a good way. Quit while you're ahead, you idiotic, oddball cunt.

Sir Alf - Benrahma is frustrating but 6 goals and 6 assists is far from hardly any end product and is in fact nearly a quarter of all our premier league goals

I will defer from writing him off until next season. Benrahma is nearer to that as it’s his second season and despite some early promise this season he still has little end product. Playing Vlasic in a central role is also essential. That’s where he played when voted Russian Footballer of the Year iirc?
In short, far too early to write him off IMO

Ted,
You’d think there is a big chance the lad’s career is pretty much over now. Sickening the direction his foot was pointing compared to his knee

Vlasic has been so bad for us, there is not a chance we get a "decent offer". We'd be lucky to get offered 10m, so he's at least a 20m write off. Good chance only way we get shot is pushing him out on loan to a team in Spain or Italy, or maybe Turkey, and hope for them he (somehow) catches fire.
Otherwise, reckon we're stuck with him until.his contract runs down.

The 32-year-old suffered a suspected dislocated and fractured ankle, and Burnley’s interim manager Mike Jackson – who is filling on after Sean Dyche’s surprise sacking – revealed after the match that Westwood was taken straight to hospital for further treatment.
Burnley also posted on Twitter on Sunday evening, saying he is ‘doing well’.

That happened to me once. A player from the other team came off worse in a 50:50 challenge. He screamed “Jesus Christ!” “Are you alright, mate?”, I enquired before noticing that his face was white as a sheet. I looked down at his ankle and noticed that his foot was at 90 degrees.
I didn’t break down in tears, but I didn’t feel like playing after that. Turns out the poor bastard was meant to be flying to Florida with his family the next day.

To each their own
Son in that incident with Gomez of Everton lost the ball and was angry and out of control. He chased Gomez and deliberately put his studs into his achilles causing a serious injury. Any reaction was an attempt at deflection for what should have been a red card and a substantial ban. A deliberate attack like that should have been a 12 match ban.

Was all over the papers 'west ham player breaks down crying...'
No he didn't. Also that bloke over here on the floor seems to have some kind of problem, wanna focus on that?
Reaction of a child. Football skills of a charlatan.

Sorry Sven , the human reaction would be to go over and provide comfort and reassurance. The narcissist reaction would be the theatricals

I thought that as well. Even in a moment of pure human tragedy it looks like him and Son when he did it at Everton, they want to have a bit of the limelight for themselves, hamming it up so the crowd can’t miss it

Re: Nikola Vlasic

As a fellow professional and a HUMAN BEING it was just a genuine reaction to seeing a players ankle at right angles after a complete accident. I guess in that situation most players thought is 'that could be me'.
