Imagine if the world followed WHOs rules

Saville and Epstein wouldn’t have been exposed. Weinstein would still be writing power in Hollywood and Prince Andrew would still be publicly aired.

Perhaps, just perhaps women or men that have suffered sexual assault are scared, embarrass, unfairly feel shameful. Perhaps that is why they fear coming forward but in cases like this which are multiple accusations by multiple victims, they feel safety in numbers and are able to unburden after many years.

A former BBC reporter who claims she was sexually assaulted while working undercover to expose abuse in the fashion industry has given a statement to French police.

Lisa Brinkworth posed as a model in a documentary for the BBC's Donal McIntyre Investigates series in 1998.

Have I got this right: She was working undercover to expose abuse in the fashion industry in 1998 but she waited until 2021 to expose the abuse?

When I was 14 I squeezed a girls bottom in home economy lessons.

39 years later I am dreading the old bill knocking on my door.

Strange how these things spring into peoples minds. I have witnesses to confirm I was stuck around the back with a tennis racquet by a sports teacher when I was 15 and now I am realising how violated I felt at the time and it has ruined my life

She has had to live with this for 23 years ( the assault not the nose ).

Why did she not come forward sooner?
