Insulate Britain Protests
Anyone seen them, or been stuck in them?

Monday they sat in the middle of the m25 and blocked the motor way, police took hours to get them moved.

Today, they've done it again, blocking South Mimms and junctions 8 and 9.

Their trying to get the Govt to spend money on insulating peoples homes, as it helps stop emissions.

Absolute cunts, and the police are a fucking joke being too soft with them. Champagne socialist cunts.

I am not being disingenuous

Rather, the media and swell around this is disingenuous

The narrative is still very much this is a vaccine that vaccinates you against covid 19 - it doesn’t

It doesn’t reduce the likelihood of infection as you state. It potentially reduces the symptoms of those infected.

Back to the “selfish pricks” etc narrative - ie a handful of people will force the government to lock everyone in their houses - it’s nonsense

A virus needs hosts and if 90% of the adult population have been double vaccinated then where is this major outbreak going to come from - when it comes, which it will.

There are always two choices in life

QUESTION

Back to the original post - there are lots of things going on right now that will herald in a new form of government (Red or Blue - it’s not party political, it’s inevitable) one which we obey and the majority have been happy to see this happen. They won’t be when it is here but it will be too late then.

Equally, the term "Man Made Climate Change" implies that all climate change is down to human activities (over the last 200 years).

Disingenuity is equally at use in both camps.

Pwoper

"the vaccine does not stop infection nor transmission."

Why do people like you keep trotting this out? It implies that the vaccine doesn't work.

It does indeed not STOP infection or transmission.

It does hugely reduce the likelihood of infection and therefore also of ongoing transmission.

No-one claims it entirely stops transmission as that would be ridiculous.

So saying, effectively "it doesn't completely stop infection" is deliberately misleading.

It's possible to have a sane argument/debate without being deliberately disingenuous.

Why should everyone suffer because of spineless, selfish little pricks?

Who makes everyone suffer?

Answer that rather than blame your fellow man.

Once we all turn on each other the powers that be win - unless you believe that governments around the world have only ever had its people’s best interests at heart.

A selfish prick is somebody who doesn't do what I do, like what I like & agree with all I say.

Anybody care to improve on that without resorting to childish insults, thereby proving my assertation?

Straight over your head wd40

That’s exactly the reaction they want. When the government locks people in their houses they hope the people can blame their neighbours.

Quick update - the vaccine does not stop infection nor transmission.

Forcing people to undertake medical treatment is against international law.

Fwiw I am double vaccinated

They will only lockdown the unvaccinated.

The rest of us will carry on as normal.

Re: Insulate Britain Protests
The more this goes the more the public will applaud the media who demonise the protesters and the lack of police action. The more the public do that the touch paper is lit for the government to be encouraged to ban al protesting.

There is a perfect storm of events in the country right now that are pitching the normal people against each other and will lead to acquiescing whilst the govt bring in swathes of measures to restrict your movements, freedoms and life

Nonsense people will cry! Conspiracy they will say. We are a free county!

We are blooding waiting on tenterhooks to see if the government will allow us to have a christmas this year.

Strange times - all planned.

It’s the arrogance of this lot that gets me! They are RIGHT and anyone who even mildly disagrees is a no nothing anti climate change type who deserves to be sneered at.

The one going on hunger strike wont last long, upper class bint who will cave in once the media and coverage moves on, read she spent 2 years 4 wheel driving around the planet! Now feels she can block roads and tell the rest of us what to do and ignore the law…..FMOB.

Lets hope today isnt a one off and the judge's verdict sets a precedant. I have nothing against protests,i attented plenty of them in my younger days but these cunts were willing to let desperately ill people suffer, that goes over a line in my book.

They were more or less laughing at the justice system the other week when they were asking why they hadnt been jailed. Dont think they'll be many chuckles tonight during their first night behind the door.

'Hypocrite' Emma Smart insists blocking traffic was 'morally right', despite going on a 81,000-mile road trip in a diesel four-wheel drive.

That's the one on hunger strike!¬¬
