The Met.
What the fuck were those two scumbag coppers thinking of when taking photo's of those dead girls,photo shopping them then sending them around to private watspp groups? These two cunt wer'nt kids, they knew what they were doing,they need to be sent down and not for a few weeks either.

And on a wider level,how is that cunt Cressida Dick still in her job? She is a fucking disgrace and has turned London and its policing into a laughing stock.

Re: The Met.
I don't get it. The Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis since 2017 has a catalogue of real an PR disasters, if not directly down to her then definitely on her watch. Prior to that the shooting of Jean Charles da Silva e de Menezes was an operation under her control.
Regardless of gender, race, colour, creed religious persuasion or any other personal trait how is anyone supposed to have any confidence in an organisation led by a person with that track record? Whether terminally unlucky or simply useless she clearly shouldn't be in that job.
But wait............ she now reports to Priti Patel, another vile and useless creature.

Re: The Met.
I see.

So one of her plods catches a fellow officer who has been caught on CCTV adducting a girl in a car car hired in his own name = smart work by Cressida

Operation Midland = Not getting involved in furthering her career stuff

Abetting Insulate Britain and having her plods taking the knee at Notting Hill = not getting involved in politics

Vexty I think some are expecting her to start up some sort of Minority Report squad.......

Re: The Met.
Dick is an easy target, a woman, looks like a gnome has the name Dick when she's a massive lezzer. It's almost too easy. However she aint done too much wrong and actually at least seems to give a shit about the actual on the ground stuff ahead of politics and furthering her career and I think that's laudable. Not sure she could have done too much about some of the mad shit that's gone on recently. Caught yer killer of the two weird birds in the park and yer Sarah Everard murderer pretty sharpish too. Not sure what it is that has upset everyone so. Is she supposed to prevent individual errors and random acts of stupidity/madness from each and every one of her little piggies? It'd be like the caretaker chinning someone and the CEO of the company getting the elbow.
If you want bungling you should see some of the chumps out my way that call themselves the pigs. The met are alright. For police. Who are almost all cunts.

Re: The Met.
She's made quite a lot of those bad decisions, hasn't she.

It's almost as if she's a shit token. If she's the best female cop the Met have got, god help us

Re: The Met.
Cressida Dick made a decision which ended up with an innocent being summarily executed but she did so having been fed wrong and misleading information.

'I think it's due to the fact it was a tad fucked up before she took the promotion.......'

Yes. You had people being promoted for ordering the killing of innocent Brazilians.

Re: The Met.
So these 2 blokes will get long custodial sentences for taking photographs of the victim and then sharing them on social media.

And rightly so.

Claudia Webbe threatens and harrasses a woman and gets a suspended sentence.

Hardly fair.

Re: The Met.
How is that Dick still is in charge of the Met?

Considering all that's happened on her watch...or beat.

I'm guessing it's not the easiest job, policing London, but still.

I believe they were charged with Misconduct In Public Office. This is something that any public servant can be charged with and is a catch-all offence that is used when other offences can't be specified. To prove guilt you have to show:

The offence is committed when:

-a public officer acting as such;
-wilfully neglects to perform his duty and/or wilfully misconducts himself;
-to such a degree as to amount to an abuse of the -public's trust in the office holder;
-without reasonable excuse or justification.

The prosecution argued that not only did they do something so distasteful as to be unacceptable to the public but they could also have contaminated the crime scene.

As a copper you don't enter a crime scene unless you really have to in order to ensure it's not contaminated in any way. To do so just to take photos which you then photoshop and share on WhatsApp is appalling behaviour.

Definitely meets above requirements of the offence. But whether it merits a prison sentence? I'm not sure about that.

Re: The Met.
just an awful situation made undeniably worse by the bungling inept Met. How does it take a year for them to go through disciplinary and court cases - should have been done within a month. I met Nicole a couple of times she was a friend of my pals son and he was one of the people at the party and went to search for her afters. A lovelier, more honest and beautiful girl you'd struggle to find on this planet. A huge and horrible loss- the fact the worm that killed them both only got 35 years " due to sentencing conditions around his age " is another wound that their poor mum will have to bear for the rest of her life

Re: The Met.
That didn’t answer the question.

If you can’t tell the difference between a private house and a public area then there really isn’t any point carrying on.

Is that what you tell your 4 year old niece when you're giving her a bath?

Of course it's a crime, particularly when you're in a job that deals with incredibly sensitive situations.

If it wasn’t for cctv and DNA they’d have to go back to fitting people up to “solve”crimes.

Re: The Met.
As far as I can see it's the CPS who havent got the stomach to actually attempt to put people in prison unless it's a 100% dead cert no risk guaranteed. I'm sure most of the pigs would love to smash a few cunts sat on the M25.

Re: The Met.

If a bunch of us were sat on the M25 in protest at the price of season tickets I don't think plod would be offering us cups of splosh and digestives.
