WHO Poll
Q: 2021/22 What competition should we prioritise this season?
a. The league is our bread & butter, so this year let's have a club sandwich
b. We're owed an FA Cup after Gerrard nicked our last one in 06, our name's on it in 22
c. A bye to the League Cup 3rd round gives us a good start, let's make it count
d. The Europa is our best ticket to the Champions League, this is the one
e. What's wrong with you, let's do the lot, has the quadruple ever been done

Just wanted to give a mention to the Romford Riquelme, who personally I wanted out as he looked completely shot to bits after his knee injury.

Seems to be finding his feet again, his eye for a pass is probably the best we have and his ball to Coufal last night was brilliant.

Great to see him start to show his class again.

Re: Lanzini
Great to see him coming back to form - good goal at Old Trafford, then the passes for Bowen vs Villa, and Coufal be Genk showed his class

Anyone who didn't get the reference is a Totts fan like crossed hammers or an old man who takes naps in front of his colour TV with a cat on his lap.

The issue Block had here was bringing that Twitter shit on here as if people would get it.

Re: Lanzini
Can we keep the Ilford Iniesta for Fornals though?

I have a feeling it will catch on.

If anyone sees it on the press in the future please report back.

Re: Lanzini
For everyone having a pop at Block, 'Romford Riquelme' comes from WestHamClips match reviews on Twitter (which are usually very funny)

It's also where the "We are absolutely fucking massive" comes from

There endeth today's informational post

Re: Lanzini
I actually like the name Romford Riquelme

We should adopt this naming convention for all our foreign players.

Fornals can be the Ilford Inieststa

Yarmelenko can be the Shenfield Schevchenko

Benrama can be the Margeretting Mahraz

Vlasic can be the Maldon Mandzukic

Ogbonna can be the Billericy Beresi

Diop can be the Dengie Desailly

Soucek can be the North Benfleet Nedved

Coufal can be the Navestock Novak

Fabianski can be the Tilbury Tomaszewski

Areola can be Basildon Barthez

Tin hat on

Re: Lanzini
Has toughened up his game as well.
Plays a good part in the midfield defense and breaks up attacks.
A much more complete midfielder than he was before the injury.

It’s great to see he’s back in the mix after being written off by most including me.
What a brilliant job Moyes is doing, getting a tune out of all our players even Yarma in recent games.

Re: Lanzini
Not as good as Tammy Abraham “the Upminster Messi”

We missed out on him, not sure how he is going in Italy?

Re: Lanzini
What a car crash of a thread this was. Even without the 'Romford Riquelme' quip it seemed an odd thread to start when you could have just said what you did on the match thread. You were probably over excited at the time.

Re: Lanzini
Perhaps Block meant the other Romford, which IS in the Americas.

Albeit in Connecticut.
